Great versatility
We bought this for our 2 month old with the idea that it will grow with him. I really like the versatility it offers for carrying him different ways. It’s very easy to use and to put on/off yourself, although I have not tried him on my back as he is still too small. It does feel very secure, but there is no support for his head while he is gaining his strength. There is ample padding and my back and shoulders really don’t hurt when I’m carrying him-he’s currently 16lbs. The mesh is definitely helpful in the summer heat but it isn’t quite as soft against his skin, especially where his legs rub. I do love the sun shield, it’s very convenient . Overall we are very happy with the carrier and its quality and would definitely recommend.

I purchased twice, that’s how good it is.
This is the second one that I’ve purchased. The first one I got was in 2019. My son was almost 10 lbs at birth so I was on a mission to find a carrier that would stay with us as long as I needed to carry him. This carries up to 45 lbs - standard size. Fits small and tall babies. Pictured is my baby koala bear. This review is really on his behalf, he LOVES being in the carrier. He loves to be carried and this allows us to carry him around the house and still be hands free. We do have the wrap but koala is solid and heavy. This feels much more secure than the moby, which is great for newborn to a couple months, but our babies are generally heavier and taller than other babies. This one is much more breathable and the mesh helps if you have a sweaty baby. Koala baby does sweat so this is great for him. I carried my older son in my first one until he was about 4, and I carried him mostly on my back for the last year using that carrier. Usually for hiking or when we knew we’d be somewhere that either required a lot of walking or if there were hazards and it was best to carry him. I gave Tula#1 to my sister after I had no use for us and it’s well loved by her and her boys. It’s easy and quick to put on (of course once you’ve properly adjusted it to fit baby), and I always have it with me. Worth every penny, and our go-to carrier, the one I’d recommend for every parent.

MUST HAVE for a Velcro baby
I tried many carriers for my Velcro baby. I bought this carrier while trying others because it was pretty, while hoping I didn’t like it because of the price. This carrier beat them all. I have the Olivia model which is mesh. The mesh is great for the hot summer months in Florida. It’s breathable and light. It’s also not scratchy like some other carrier fabrics. It’s super easy to snap on and is so comfortable. I wear this many hours a day and it gives me zero back pain. The lumbar support is amazing. It comes with a hood to shade the baby from the sun. A pouch big enough for your wallet and phone. The straps are super padded. The adjustable part for the hips snaps in place to hold it so you aren’t adjusting it every time you put it on. I mean it’s really thought out well. This is definitely an investment piece but honestly it’s more portable than a stroller and if you have a baby that has to be held and/or contact nap and want to have some semblance of a life this is a necessity.

3 Different carrying styles
First I’d like to say how cute this product is! When looking at carriers one of the things I wanted was for it to be cute for boys but also girls if my next child would be one. The dinosaurs are adorable and the colors make it appealing for girls as well. Ease of use: the instructions in the book were a little hard to follow because I couldn’t find what they were showing easily. I had no idea where any buttons or snaps were. Tula had a great video on their website though that was extremely helpful! Carding positions: this carrier has the ability to forward face, outward face, and go on your back. The outward facing is one of the big pluses for me. My 5 month old loves to look out into the world so finding something he could in was a challenge. It was one of the only carries I found that had the capability to do so. Inclusivity: as a plus size mom being able to buy something and it fit not only without having to buy an extended but with more room to expand was an amazing feeling! The size range on this is phenomenal! It’ll fit if I lose or gain weight. Comfortability: it’s very comfortable not only on myself, but my son. He’s only ever been in a wrap carrier before this and he seems just as comfortable in this! He kicks when he’s happy facing out and still does in the carrier. Material: the material is very breathable on myself and my son! I’m excited to use the mess in the summer! In a wrap carrier he would get so much warmer due to the material. I think the value is worth the money! It has so many great qualities. You won’t regret it

Soft, supportive, but bulky for petite person
Got this so it could fit both me and my husband who is 6’1” and over 200lbs. It is supportive and better than a ring sling wrap I usually use for baby. Good back support, safe and soft. I’m 5’2” though and petite so it’s really bulky on me even at its tightest settings. Also pricier than other options out there, but in sale was totally worth it.

Best Carrier EVER
I’ve had this carrier for an hour and I’m already a massive fan. My baby is currently sleeping in it as I type this. I had a couple other carriers all of which would slouch, be too tight and press on my baby’s belly, droop, etc. My baby hated all of them. I was desperate to find a carrier she liked so I could live my life without having to hold her all the time. A Velcro baby who hates carriers was ROUGH. I couldn’t get anything done. This carrier is sturdy, supportive, comfortable, all the things. It is worth every single penny. I am so happy and in love right now. I feel like I can confidently take her to the store, on a hike, do chores. Ugh. Thank you Tula!!!!

Kinda big! Great for baby over 4 months +
I bought this thinking it would be great to carry my 1 month old in, as he was super colicy and the reviews said this was great for smaller babies beggar it adjusted in the pelvic /hip area to sit a small baby. Well my baby is measuring at exacting where he should for his age, and this carrier was too big and bulky for him. He was sufficating and screaming from feeling insecure, despite all the adjustments I tried to make. He is now 3 months and still measuring exactly where he should be for his age in height and weight. This carrier is STILL a bit big for him. I think next month it will work out nicely. So for now I've been using a different carrier that my cousin gave me, and my Moby wrap. He loves the wrap! It's easy to take on and off, he's secure, and the material is breathable so he doesn't overheat. So those are my go to carriers until my lil guy is big enough for this one. It is a great durable carrier. I just feel it's better suited for a baby 4 months and up.

Tula Explore Baby Carrier
This baby carrier is amazing! I would rate it as the best you could ever get! It is made from the sturdiest, softest material. It is extremely well made. It is also very lightweight. The padding makes it the most comfortable baby carrier ever. You will not get shoulder or backache with this. Wear it knowing baby is safe and secure and comfortable. I choose this design because it is pretty neutral. At the moment it is being used for a baby girl but this can also be used for a boy. Expensive? No! Not at all. You get to use this until your baby is 45lb so you get lots of use from it. That is equal to a 4 year old child! In my honest opinion it is well worth the price. Machine washable to keep it in pristine condition. I highly recommend this Tula baby carrier, it is excellent!
