Smaller leaves than my usual leaf tea, but very tasty. I'm using it in my BRU teamaker alarm so it wakes me with a nice brew at 07.15 every day. I'm sure it would taste just as nice from a Teapot but I'm on coffee by then.

Just the best English Breakfast Tea! Strong but mellow…expensive, but it will spoil you for any other tea!

First of all, I think it's important to mention that the current packaging for this product (as of 25th March 2021) is NOT recyclable. I was misled into thinking that it was, due to the recyclable logo and the message that reads "please keep me cool and dry until I'm finished then try to recycle me" on the product image on the Amazon product page, as well as the product information, that has now been removed. I emailed teapigs directly about this and they assured me that they are working on changing the 250g loose leaf bags to use recyclable packaging. Fingers crossed that happens soon. This is the only reason I have given a 4/5 stars rather than a 5/5. That said, the tea itself is absolutely superb. I'm only used to drinking good ol' trusty Yorkshire tea, so I'm no connoisseur of tea, myself. I just thought I'd give some proper loose leaf tea a go because I have complete disdain for the fact that most teabags contain plastic (including those from Yorkshire tea... Yes, I emailed them too. I'm a Karen. I get it.). I can honestly tell you that I will never be going back to Yorkshire tea or any other common name brands now that I've tasted the teapigs everyday brew. This is what all tea should taste like. It contains so much more flavour than your typical teabags. Just give it a try, PLEASE. You won't look back.

For me the loose leaf tea is exceptional, makes a most enjoyable and refreshing cup of tea that can be enjoyed morning noon or night. Invest in a good infuser, ditch the tea bags and the cost becomes tolerable, nay reasonable for such good tea

This tea is described as “whole leaf” but when you get it it has been ground down so you have no way of knowing if it was made from whole leaves or not. The taste is ok if you let it brew for a while, hence I’ve given it 3 stars, but I won’t be buying it again. I prefer to look for a brand which actually supplies whole leaf tea!

Lovely strong tea and works well in a tea strainer, would definitely purchase again.

This is not what the product description promises, far from being the loose leaf tea that I was expect at the same quality of their other tea's, it tastes like maybe the sweepings from the floor after the real tea has been sorted. This is not loose leaf tea, this is the dust that you would normally find in tea bags, quite strong, but bitter in flavour. Recommendations for making at least a passable cup of tea from this. * They suggest 2 tspn's per cup, I would recommend no more than one, * Rather than a normal steeping time I would advise taking at least a minute off your normal time Overall, good in an emergency, but you are getting just bitter dust with little depth of flavour
