Why is the actual storage capacity of DPB slightly less than the volume specified on the product's package?

Due to different calculations, computers show less capacity than stated. Computers use 1GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes, so a 16GB drive shows about 14.90GB. Some space is also reserved for firmware or system data. This is normal and doesn't affect usage.
