what is the pedal on the inside of right rear wheel

The pedal is for going up curbs, but it can also be dangerous. When turning the rollator to the right, you should be very careful that your right foot is not near the right wheel.  When I first got my rollator, I was not aware of this danger.  When I turned it to the right, the curb pedal swung to the right and hit my right foot, fracturing a bone in my foot.  I have been in a boot for three weeks and have three more weeks to wear it.  Hopefully, it will be healed by then.  I decided that the curb pedal was too dangerous for me and I have no real need for it.  However, getting rid of it was not easy.  It is an integral part of the rollator, and cannot simply be removed.  I finally went to a bicycle repair shop, where they took the wheel apart, took the curb pedal out, sawed off the part of the pedal that stuck out, and put the rest of the part back.  I now have no pedal and am much happier with my rollator. The curb pedal was simply not worth the risk of a painful and debilitating injury.  My advice to others is: be very careful when turning.

Is this good for use outside on grass?

Yes, we loved it for outside, especially uneven grass and dirt also was good on snowy sidewalks. Didn't stop her from going out. We loved this walker.

YES, You can adjust the heigh of the handle bars until you are comfortable with it. Make sure you are no bending to walk. Otherwise it could affect your back posture. Just put the basket that goes in the front if desired. It's optional. I love mine. Everywhere I go people ask where I got it from. My answer, AMAZON!!!!!!!!

This walker folds flat in an upright position.  You will love its design once you try it out.  It practical and ideal for those with very little living space.  Just fold it and sit it in a corner.  It stands on its on, which means it doesn't need to be supported.  Therefore, the Nitro is a great buy.  I hope this answers your question!
