This Capri Blue Pura car air freshener is the best scent diffuser I’ve used in my car. It uses scent pods instead of oil or water, eliminating any potential for leaks. The included Volcano scent pod smells fantastic—light, clean, & not overpowering or perfumy.It’s rechargeable with the included Type-C/USB cable & operates with a single touch button on top. The auto sensor detects when the car is in motion, automatically powering it on, & turns it off again when the car sits still for a while. It’s impressively accurate, even detecting when I first get inside, powering on as soon as I open the door.You can adjust the scent strength via the free app or by pressing the button. A light indicates the level: fully lit for full strength, halfway for medium, a third for light, & off when it’s off. The app also notifies you when the pod is low & makes reordering a breeze.It fits perfectly in the cup holder—almost too perfectly 😆. That’s my only gripe. It’s such a tight fit, & at a height level with the top of my cup holder, it’s hard to grab when needed. I can’t get my fingers around it, & there’s nothing to grip. Adding texture grips to the top or making it slightly taller would help. Thankfully, I have a cup holder liner & could remove the whole thing to get it out—otherwise, it’d be stuck. This might vary by car model, but in the new Honda CRV, it’s tricky to handle.Otherwise, this is a great scent diffuser. My car smells amazing with a consistently pleasant aroma, & there’s no worry about oil puddles in my cup holder. There’s no mist, no noise—just fragrance. A very cool device.

This unit seems to work right it stop working on May 27,2025 this unit did not reconnect to the app after deleting the unit off the app. Have trouble with this unit have call Pura about it thank

I'll confess that I was initially pretty impressed with this little device. The packaging is top notch, and the device is sleek and heavy, suggesting it's full of good and powerful electronic stuff. Even the supplied power cord is quality (it's braided!). I slipped the little hockey puck disk in there and was treated to some very pleasing tropical scents. And that's where the fun ended. The instruction manual consists of two instructions: Press the button and download the app. I did as instructed and was prompted to create an account. Well I'm not doing it. I find it offensive that I'd have to create an account to enjoy the full capabilities of an already rather expensive diffuser. Why can't I be guided through the set up process without setting up an account? I see no good reason why Pura needs my personal information and email address to make my little device work, unless of course it is so that they can send me email I don't want or sell my email address to other people. In short, I have account fatigue. I'll give one star for the quality of the device and another for the few moments I enjoyed the fruity scents, but that's about it. I'll stick with my vehicle's natural odor, dog fur and rubber.

I like the pura diffuser but it smells NOTHING like the capri blue volcano candle. I’m very disappointed in the scent…. As soon as I opened it and turned it on it made me very nauseous and car sick. If you like capri blue, don’t get this scent! I am going to keep the pura and try a different scent that isn’t so strong!
