You know how it is—you try a million things, some are fine, some are meh, and every once in a while, you stumble across something that actually stops you in your tracks. Well, this one stopped me. Let me introduce you to the Abib Vegan Collagen Gel Mask Sedum. I purchased this on a whim because I'd heard good things about the brand, but I honestly didn't expect to be this impressed. And now? I can't stop reaching for it. Let's start with the sedum ingredient. If you're not familiar, sedum is this incredible plant that's known for its hydrating and soothing properties. Combined with the vegan collagen, it's like a tall drink of water for your face. The gel mask itself is thick, juicy, and packed with essence—it doesn't drip everywhere, which I really appreciate. It stays put and just hugs your skin. But the real magic? The way my skin looks and feels afterwards. I'm talking plump, bouncy, glowing, like I just had a facial at a fancy spa. My skin feels soothed, hydrated, and genuinely happy. There's no stickiness left behind, just this beautiful, dewy finish that makes me keep touching my cheeks (yes, I'm that person now). The vegan aspect is a nice bonus too—it feels good knowing I'm using something clean and cruelty-free without sacrificing results. Honestly, I've been sharing my results and experience with this mask because it's just that good. It's become one of my favorites, and I know I'll be repurchasing. It help skin irritation. And it somehow works. But it’s not sticky on face. And not that hydrated.

I liked the Abib Collagen Gel much better than the Biodance Hydrogrel Mask. The Abib was much easier to handle, it was definitely more sturdy than the Biodance so no tearing while I was removing from the package or fitting to my face. It seemed to be larger than the Bioance mask too so there was more coverage of the whole face. The Abib was loaded with the hydrating lotion. Just as in using the Biodance, I slept with the mask on and removed when I woke up. Both seemed to hydrate my face well. Both seemed to suck the moisture out of my lips overnight so one should use a lot of lip balm before going to bed. While I liked the moisturing effect, I subconsciously was aware of the mask all night so I think I will probably stick to the less expensive sheet masks which are worn for 10-15 minutes.

I love a good hydrogel/jelly mask. Very familiar with the k-beauty style ones but this is a new brand to me. The mask comes in two pieces, one for the top half of the face and another for the bottom. I did find the top half a bit fiddly to position perfectly on my nose even with the extra little bits they include to help secure it. I also noticed some slight bunching around the curves near my eyes that I couldn’t smooth out completely but to be fair, I think I might just have a small face! The bottom half though, practically snapped into place and stayed put the whole time. These masks are super saturated with serum which is great for your skin but can make them a bit slippery for your hands so you do need to take your time when applying. Once on, they feel lovely and cooling and I really liked that the mask gradually turns from a greeny type of colour to clear as your skin absorbs the gel, it’s very satisfying to keep an eye on, lol. I wore these a few hours before bed instead of overnight as I wanted to make sure I didn't wake up with a red raw, irritated face after the first use and I'm really pleased my skin seemed to like this a lot and wasn't sensitive or blotchy. My skin wasn't radiant or extremely glowy but it did look very hydrated without looking greasy. I'd say these are great if you want to top up on moisture but you should probably buy vitamin c ones if you're looking for a brightening radiant effect. All in, despite a slightly tricky fit on the top half to start with, I liked these! A nice first foray into this brand. It felt pampering, quite gentle and it definitely made my skin feel hydrated and calm. The value is also really quite good for 4 masks of this quality, imo. I would recommend them!

These face masks left my skin feeling really moisturised without being greasy, which is exactly what I look for in a mask. My skin felt noticeably smoother and more hydrated after using them, and my face was incredibly soft afterwards. The masks themselves are quite sturdy and don’t feel overly fragile like some sheet masks can. I had no issues unfolding them or applying them without tearing. They were ever so slightly small for my big ol' head, but that’s more of a me problem than an issue with the product itself haha. Once on though, they were comfortable to wear and stayed in place well. I put one on, lay down, and relaxed for around 30 minutes to an hour. Afterwards, I could genuinely feel a difference in both the texture and hydration of my skin. The only thing I marked down 2 star for is the price. I feel it's quite steep for a pack of 4 masks, but they are good quality so if that's what you're after then it's not an issue. Overall, these are really nice masks that leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed.

Overall, this is a gentle yet effective mask that hydrates, soothes, and enhances skin’s natural glow—perfect for when your skin needs a little extra care and pampering.
