GEAR AID HEROCLIP Medium 360° Swivel Carabiner & Hook

I am very satisfied with these. I was worried that I might regret the purchase but they have been very useful. I have the largest one on my backpack tool bag (frequently in the 30-45 lb range) and the smallest one on the bag I take when I ride my motorcycle. They have held up and do the intended job. They allow me to hang the bag somewhere convenient and access what’s inside more easily. They also double as a regular carabiner to attach something to the bag or attach the bag to, for example, a rope to lift the bag to a roof. It works to hook onto an edge or hook of course. It works extremely well to hook onto a “ledge” where the weight of the bag ends up underneath the hook of the carabiner. It isn’t quite as secure on a slick corner where the weight of the bag is trying to pull the hook off. It does that last one fine with the bag static. If you start digging through the bag and shifting the weight, the hook does try to slide off a slick surface (for example, slick metal but I suspect it wouldn’t on brick). Hey, there are limitations to the physics involved but that’s understandable. They are serving their purpose and have been useful, convenient and held up.

Let me tell you about the Gear Aid Hero Clip Carabiner. This little gadget has become an essential part of my daily carry, and here's why: **Pros:** - **Utility:** This carabiner is like the Swiss Army Knife of clips. It's not just for keys; I've used it for everything from securing my water bottle to my backpack to clipping my fishing gear together. It's incredibly handy for keeping things organized. - **Strength:** Despite its size, this carabiner is tough. I've put it through the wringer, and it hasn't let me down. It feels like it could hold up against a small hurricane, which is great when you're out in the elements. - **Portability:** Small enough to fit on a keychain or in your pocket, it's always there when you need it, but it doesn't take up much space. Perfect for those who like to travel light. **Cons:** - **Simplicity:** If you're looking for a carabiner with extra features like a compass or a whistle, you won't find them here. It's just a solid, reliable clip. **Final Thoughts:** The Gear Aid Hero Clip Carabiner is not just handy; it's a game-changer for anyone who likes to keep their gear in check. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, a city slicker, or just someone who likes to be prepared, this carabiner is your new best friend. It's not flashy, but it gets the job done with style. If you're tired of losing small items or need a quick way to secure your gear, this is the tool for you.

This is attached to my purse at all times. I use it quite a lot. Bathroom doors, tables at restaurants, attached to my belt loop for added protection. Strong and the right size for all sizes of my bags. I purchased the green one. It works great to hold a light when working under the hood of a car also.

These clips are perfect for all sorts of things. I keep the mini in my purse at all times. I will never hang my purse or any bag on a public restroom floor. So many restrooms do not have hooks anymore and this clip is perfect to hang over the stall door. The larger clips are great for backpacks when traveling or sports bags at games and tournaments.

Just as described. Normal public bathroom, stripped screw holes where a hanging hook should be. Hangs my bag easily on the stall wall. The design is simple, just have to actively think about opening and closing the swinging top hook. It does disengage easily from the main closed position. So it works better for me as a stationary hook in your bag better than as one used daily, like using it for car keys.

This thing does exactly what it claims and more. I personally bought it as a bag holder for the trains, metro, and subway. Perfect hook system to hold your bag on the rails and seats. I also tried the hook mechanism on many surfaces. Awesome hold!

I am so glad I bought this. A lot of times bathroom doors don’t have any hooks to hang your purse or backpack . Even a jacket . This works great. I plan on buying some for Christmas gifts.

Recently few out of town and attached this to my purse. Not for the first time. It’s been the perfect addition to my bags. It holds up to 60lbs in the medium size which made more than strong enough for my day to day purse. Sure enough at the airport and other places there was no hook for my bag and I didn’t want to put my bag on the floor. I was able to hang it on the side walls. I’m untrusting so I was also able to hold onto the strap of my purse for extra security. The size of the carabiner makes it subtle on my purse without being bulky. And I didn’t find the price too expensive. I can’t wait to put it to use in other ways, but I may just buy another one and keep this on my purse.

Great! Strong and super useful to hang my handbag anywhere.
