This is great for keeping AC evaporators from rusting at the tube sheet.
My ceiling cassette evaporators on my 6 zone Fujitsu minisplit failed within 4 years due to severe rust where the galvanized steel meets the copper tubing. I pulled all of them (all 6) and meticulously cleaned and sand blasted the rusted areas and then repaired all leaks. I had to do something to protect the newly repaired and clean evaporator coils and Gulfcoat Marineblue worked great! If you prep the surface properly this stuff sticks to the surface tenaciously and seems to leave a hard slick surface moisture doesn't cling to. I'm not worried about the coils rusting out now.
