However this set would work best with the softer play doh (I forget the name).The long rectangular form (looks like a ruler) with shapes in it does not work with the stiff play doh. The form pops out of place. It only works if I used both my hands to hold it in place while my child presses really hard on the handle to push the play doh through. I feel we will break it by doing this. The popcorn press would probably work better with the softer play doh also. All the other forms work just fine with the stiffer play doh.

My niece had been asking her mom for this toy over and over again. I as her Aunt was so happy to find this on Amazon because I like to make my niece's wishes come true. I got this for her as I did many other presents for Christmas. The look on her face was priceless she was 5 at the time and you're only a kid once. We opened the box and enjoyed making the popcorn and everything else. My niece so loves Play dooh products. You can always count on having fun with play dooh.

I really wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased this for my daughters birthday. What a waste of money. This product is completely worthless. The playdoh you get with it does not feel or work like regular playdoh. It is sticky and slimy and falls apart very easily. Every piece of this toy is way to hard for a child to use on their own. When using the candy maker you have the playdoh working out through all different openings on the set, including UNDERNEATH. So, you get to either spend an hour taking the entire thing apart to clean it after every use. Or, let the playdoh dry in it making it even more worthless. I have every intention on getting her something else for her birthday, so maybe she'll forget about this playdoh set and I can throw it in the garbage. Huge waste of money.

This is a great gift for a 6 year old learning how to fix faulty toys and work around playdough that is so sticky you can't get it off your finger (or anything else) - we had to add flour to hands and tablet to even begin to remove it. The "machinery" is hard to use - even for a 6 year old who has watched the video 3-4 times. I recommend that parents watch this video. Lots of fun on the clean up side. Seems like playdough would be a pretty cheap material to get right if that was your brand. However, please note this is my review and not my daughters - she is still playing after 30 minutes - and enjoying mixing the colors into some new food groups.

This toy works really well if you have very fresh, new play doh. My kids loved it and played with it all afternoon the first day they had it, but within an hour or so the little arm you press down to make shapes through the interchangeable plate would pop off whenever they would try to use it. That would cause the little plate to come off and make it impossible to use that part of the toy. But it was a cheap toy, and the kids like it anyway.

this product is lots of fun for my girls!! they are 2 and 4 years old and have vivid imaginations so this product is great for them!!! it's hours of fun, but like all playdoh its dries quick if not put up so they have to be watched to ensure it gets put up correctly. I would recommend this for any child who likes to be creative and nothing has broke and it's easy to use!

Hey, it was a low price item ($5) for the kids at Christmas. I looks like it will provide an hour or so of activity for the kids, but for $5 I can live with that - and it gave them another present to open! Fair enough.

My 30 months old son really enjoy playing with this play-doh and it's so much fun to make all kinds of stuff, even fun for mommy and daddy. He will play with it everyday it makes him busy, creative, safe to play, easy to clean. Play doh is always a great toy, I just love to watch my son creat his own imagination made of play-doh! Cool toys!!!
