I was a fan of Afternoon Swim from the sample I had, but I couldn't justify the price tag considering the longevity was severely lacking and the DNA was so generic. I started looking around for something similar and found this and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! Accuracy 8.9/10 Longevity 4/10 Projection 6/10 My Overall Thoughts: This scent is extremely reminiscent of Afternoon Swim. In fact on the top end it is nearly indistinguishable to my nose. It doesn't mellow down to anything super unique, as much as it seems to just fade. This fragrance (and Afternoon Swim) is extremely basic. It's very citrusy, aquatic, refreshing, and clean. It smells almost exactly like a mandarin orange. The downside is that it lasts about 2 hours on me (about half of what the original lasts on me), which is a bummer but for how inexpensive it is I really don't mind reapplying throughout the day. It projects enough to be smelled in conversation distance when freshly applied, and mellows down to a skin scent an hour in. The bottle is very nice, hefty, and I love the magnetic cap, and at 100ml you won't go through it too quickly. Who/What is this for?: This fragrance is for someone who wants to smell clean, and fresh. It's great for going to the beach or the pool where you already aren't expecting your fragrance to last much longer than an hour or so. It's cool and refreshing, so it's perfect for the summer.
