will umbrella blow over?

Use a secure metal base, fold or remove umbrella when very windy!

do I need to use a table or will this support an umbrella without a table?

The 18inch will support a 7' umbrella but will NOT keep it upright. Mine blew over immediately in a moderate wind even though the umbrella was cranked shut.

How much does this DC America umbrella stand weigh?

This umbrella base weighs 22lbs. Thank you for your question.

I have an 9 ' umbrella with thick pole. will this fit the pole? do you need the dimensions of the pole girth so you can tell me if it will fit in the

The base comes with plastic inserts that allow for a 1" pole or a 1 1/2" pole. Without the inserts it will hold a 2" pole. I am using the insert for the 1 1/2" pole and it is working just fine.
