This series is really high quality for the price. In spite of what other reviewers have said these have a full tang and they are real layered AUS-10 steel (they don’t come from Damascus, they are damascus style).They hold a really good edge, I have kitchen knives that cost a lot more that don’t hold as good an edge. I cook every day and this Kirisuke is my go to knife. In other words I use it every day for 1-2 meals.
