Dragon 11.2.6 Surround Speaker Stands
The Ultimate Upgrade for Your Home CinemaIf you have the "adult money" to invest in a premium system like the Dragon 11.2.6, you owe it to yourself to hear it the way it was intendedโwith the surround speakers properly elevated. These official stands are not just an accessory; they are a necessary component to unlock the full potential of your audio setup.Superior Build & DesignWhile there are plenty of generic imitation stands on the market, none compare to the build quality and precision fit of these units. They are impeccably manufactured, offering a stability that ensures your speakers are secure and perfectly aligned. The aesthetic integration is seamless, making the speakers feel like a cohesive part of the room rather than an afterthought.Immersive SoundstageThe true magic happens when you achieve the correct ear-level height for your surround channels. By elevating the speakers to the manufacturer's recommended position, the soundstage completely transforms. The height-adjustable settings of the speakers allows for precise calibration, revealing audio intricacies I simply didn't know were there. Sounds that were previously muddy or lost in the background, the subtle texture of characters working, or the specific directional footsteps of someone walking behind a main scene, are now crisp, distinct, and fully part of the immersive experience. It makes the audio feel three-dimensional, filling the room in a way that ground-level or shelf-placed speakers simply cannot achieve. The "Cinema" ExperienceThe difference is so profound that it changes how your family interacts with your media. My wife, usually a casual observer of my tech upgrades, was genuinely floored during our first movie night post-installation. She turned to me during a particularly atmospheric scene and remarked, "I forgot we were at home."That is the gold standard for home theater. This is exactly what "adult money" is for, investing in the gear that turns a living room or den into a portal to another world. If you own the Dragon 11.2.6, do not compromise on the installation. These stands are the final, vital piece of the puzzle.

Essential
I would consider these stands to be essential if you are going to invest in the Dragon system. The surround speakers are designed specifically to be used with these stands, so you will make sacrifices if you go for another set of stands. And given how much you're investing in the Dragon, it won't make much sense to cut corners on the surround stands. The surround speakers are diesel. They are wide and heavy. They are substantive. These stands fit them perfectly, and they are incredibly sturdy. The bottom part of the stand is so heavy and well made that it would really take a concerted effort to knock the speaker over. I have a large dog and a couple curious bengal cats. I don't want to take any chances, and these speaker stands have withheld any and all collisions without so much as budging. They are very easy to assemble, and come well packed. There are clear instructions online, and there's a video too. And the stands come with a paper user guide that clearly outlines how to assemble them. Just make sure you fit the edge of the poles with the slightly smaller notch into the bottom part of the stands. When I first assembled the stands, I accidentally fit the larger notch side onto the bottom piece. When it came time to run the cord up and out from under the top part of the stand, I realized the notch was too small, and had to unscrew the top pieces, and reverse the poles. One reason I'd strongly recommend these stands, is that the performance of the system is significantly better with the speakers placed to the sides of the listening area. These stands are the exact perfect height at which to listen to the surround speakers when seated. I've tested the same content with the speakers placed behind me, and they just do not rock the way they do when they are placed to the side of my listening position.Getting the stands allows you to place the speakers exactly where you get the best sound from them. If you wall mount the speakers, you will not have the flexibility of moving them to the point in your room where you experience the best performance. And getting cheaper, less sturdy stands runs you the risk of the speakers getting knocked over. There's also high risk of rattle if you get cheap stands. These surround speakers truly rock, and cheap stands won't do them justice.

Nice quality
Expensive, but worth it. I mean, if you already bought the Dragon, may as well get the stands. Really nice quality. They look great just on their own! ONLY thing I originally thought would be better, is if the height was adjustable. Turns out, theyโre perfect as they are around a standard couch.

Beefy and perfect
I felt kinda stupid buying a stand for a speaker, but holy crap im glad I did. They sit the perfect height and the speakers ain't going anywhere. They're beefy. And anything Nakamichi is quality. You'll know it when you pick up the box.

Extremely Sturdy and recommend it.!!
For Nakamichi Dragon speakers, I'd recommend this. Ofcourse any chatgpt/claude would also show other stands which could potentially be used for the rear speakers but these are absolutely sturdy and YOU ABSOLUTELY DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM FLIPPING OVER by kids / or any automatic cleaner or for any other reason. They are too strong and for something that expensive, I wouldn't mind spending on something that would give you a peace of mind. The dimensions are exactly as mentioned, assembly is a breeze but keep in mind, they are heavy so definitely recommend 2 folks.
