No Variety, Indeed (But they do say that in the description)
I received this exactly as advertised and it is great! But I would like to add to what others are saying - the lack of guaranteed variety doesn't just mean a few duplicates, it means you can end up with quite a few of the same. I actually like duplicates because I have two kids and these are for them but I got 7 Marios, 2 Luigis, 2 Yoshis and a DK. Based on other reviews I am grateful that I got as much variety as I did. Very sad I lost the Princess Peach lottery but the cousins will enjoy the extra Marios. I believe the lack of variety is probably because this appears to be a box of individually packaged items for retail in a retail display box. So if you were running an arcade and wanted to sell these a lot of Marios is probably a good thing.

Decent Variety, brings 2 Candy Packages
Considering the variety issues others are having, I was happy to get a decent variety: 5 Marios, 2 Donkey Kongs, 2 Toads, 1 Yoshi and 1 Princess Peach. It’s not a great value and I wish the dispensers were facing forward (for reference, over Vday I got a number of Mario/Nintendo Pez dispensers at a big box store starting with a T for same price, and they brought 3 candies instead of 2 and were packaged with cardboard so they faced forward). But I was happy to find these in a pinch so I could complete the favor bags for a birthday.

Fun Mario Pez
Good for Mario lovers, we used these are treats for my son's party. The candy was fresh and tasted good and I always think Pez is good quality and the kids love them.

These were a hit!
We bought these for our 4 year old to use as valentines for his class - they were a hit and the kids were so excited! I love that there was a variety of characters and they were super cute and colorful! Parents and kids commented on how cute they were :)

Not really a variety
Not reqlly a variety...80% is Mario. Between two boxes I only had 2 Princess Peaches and 1 Donkey Kong.
