This is a great game and a fabulous learning experience for children and adults alike. Innovative, educational and fun, I love the idea of this "Skillmatics" Board game. Easy to play, with entrepreneurial thinking themes throughout, this is a cutting-edge game that would make a perfect gift choice for its target audience, delivering strategic thinking techniques, innovation, money and resource management opportunities. I like this game, I like it a lot, this game is entertaining, it's educational, and in my opinion, this is perfect for children and adults to develop essential skills whilst learning about business and innovation while also having loads of fun. Whether you’re looking to inspire your child’s entrepreneurial spirit or just want to keep them engaged, there’s something for everyone within this "Skillmatics" game. It is never too early for children to learn about business, and this game is a fun way to do it. I would say that children from the age of 9 upwards would find this entertaining - younger ones may struggle to understand the concept, but it is a great game to play with family and friends of any age. The concept is simple, and with TV programmes like Dragon's Den and The Apprentice, it is right on vogue. The products that you launch are crazy ideas, and will appeal to children (eg skateboard shoes, pet umbrella, bubble blowing gloves) and so they are immediately engaged. Once you master the basics, the games are easy and last around 30 minutes, so this is something you can pick up for a quick game - you don't need the whole evening to complete it! All the components are top quality, and are built to last, and it is a great way to prise children away from their computers, entertaining them while letting them learn some important life lessons. Excellent!

It's a really great family game that's a little bit different to any other game we've played before (and we've played many lol). Gameplay is simple and reminds me a little of monopoly, although it's much easier to play for youngsters and gameplay only lasts about 30 mins. The gameboard features pyramids that players try to complete by adding tiles featuring products, offices and teams. Players can buy or even bid on various cards needed to trade up for the required tiles, earning money as they go. The winner needs to complete the pyramid and have at least £3000. The gameplay instructions are easy to follow, although it took us a first play through to fully get the hang of it - it's super easy after that :) The game is well thought out, colourful and I love that the money pieces are printed on cards and not paper - definitely more durable when you have kids. It's a fantastic game - my family thoroughly enjoy playing it. I highly recommend :)

This game arrived in a vibrant, cellophane wrapped, box. Inside was a foldable board, instructions and several sets of cards/game tokens. It reminds me a little of monopoly but for business rather than property. You have to complete your pyramid, on the board, by filling the gaps with your product/office/team cards and collecting 3,000 in money tokens. The coloured dice and symbols on the cards decide what you can use but you have to use a strategic brain to use your money wisely/purchase the right options. We found the instructions a little overwhelming on a first reading but there is a scannable QR code which directs you to a "How to play" video tutorial. As with most games, you need to play a round before it truly starts to make sense. I would think this is fine for ages 10 +, the quality of all the elements is great, so it should last a recent amount of time. It's never too early to start thinking about money and this game provides a fun way to consider business matters. At £19.99, at time of review, I think it's reasonable value for such a playable game.

This game brought back some good old memories where everyone would sit together as a family and play a board game together. Love the fact that you do not need any batteries/USB charger to play this game. Easy and portable. The game comes in a presentable box with set of instructions, game board, currency, dice, tiles and cards. Instructions are good and easy to understand. Once the rules are understood it is easy to play. Great fun for the entire family as max 4 people can play this game at the same time. Around 30 mins game time which is really good as the kids don't get too bored. Looking forward to playing this game again during Christmas with the wider family. Hope you find this review helpful

As a family, we love a board game, especially when you get one as good as this! It may seem a little complex when you first read the instructions but 5 minutes in and you've worked it out, it's actually really simple. My youngest son who is 10 had no problems playing, in fact he ended up winning the most! A game normally takes 30mins to an hour, there is plenty of different cards and the bidding wars are fun! Everything feels good quality and for the price, I think it offers excellent value for money. I suppose the only downside is you can only have a maximum of 4 players, and you really need to have 4 playing to enjoy it fully. No probs for us, we are a family of 4, but consider that if purchasing. Overall, we gave it 4 out of 5 for fun, and 5 out of 5 for value and uniqueness.

This is a ridiculously annoying game. There are so many rules, I was baffled just by reading the instructions. I even tried watching the instruction video provided via QR code. There's no way someone aged 7 (or 99) could play this. I struggled on and got the game going, with regular references to the instructions. Not sure why I did, as it's not fun. It's so convoluted, it's just dull - trying to get a product off the ground and create a successful business. Honestly one of the worst board games I have played in 40 years.

Set bits quality is outstanding. Cards, rolling dice and the board is self just present itself top notch. The board is large, will take good portion of your table but fits all game parts and makes it easy to see and track. Well described, and easy to follow the rule book although it took us good to tries to be more fluent and enjoy it to full extent. We played with 6 and 8 yrs old boys and they were fine however we play board games a lot therefore is was easier to follow for them with more advanced games. Fun, competitive and the business ideas are crazy silly which made for kids great talking point. Set up, compete and win! Great for families, party or weekend get away!
