My five year old daughter is a bit tall for her age. I ordered a size 6-7, I was afraid the 5 would be too small. The 6-7 was a bit long (scrunched up a bit at ankle) but looks and feels fine to her and waist was perfect. Everything looked great on all three leggings when we took them out of package.
