The Safari Ltd Incredible Creatures Maine Lobster was a nice purchase. They are plastic replicas, but hey look fairly decent. There is no way anyone would think these to be real lobsters up front looking at them. But from a distance, they look fairly real if you are far enough.The construction of it and the paint job on these are pretty good for plastic lobsters. They make great novelty pieces for the kitchen or for some other display where want to show some sea creatures or crustaceans. The top and bottom of the lobster look pretty good and decent looking. As for replicas, these are one of the betters ones I have seen.I recommend these plastic novelty lobsters if you are using them for a purpose that needs some near realism. But, they are plastic lobsters. And, expect them to be when you get them.If you are expecting something better looking, the picture of the item is on the item page and you can decide if you want to buy them. They look pretty much like they do in the photos.

Great quality! The attention to detail in the shape and coloring are awesome! It is made of heavy weight, very firm plastic, which makes it nice for craft projects (or in case you needed to throw it at an intruder).

I live in Maine and i know what a maine lobster looks like, this toy re-creates a lobster very well. Durable hard rubber. I bought this to place in one of my lobster trap tables. looks good!

Beautiful replica of a lobster except perhaps the color, which is a deep red. I overlooked the color because everything else about it is very realistic, front and back, even the weight of it, which feels to be around 1 pound. It appears to be made of hard, somewhat flexible plastic, but the feelers are made of a different material, can't describe it, but they feel like they are made of something organic, not plastic. This adds some sort of fascination to it.

Was purchased for use in a theatrical production.Pretty realistic looking and worked great for us. It is a bit small, but larger than anything else I could find. It is big enough to be easily identified from the audience however.

I loved the Safari Ltd products and am a huge fan of the Incredible Creatures line. This lobster is amazing and a fun addition to our collection. My 3 and 6 yo play with them daily and they hold up well.

Acheté pour notre fils de 3 ans qui ne jure que par les homards ... et on peut dire que c'est un succés !Nous craignions pour la solidité , mais le homard n'est pas en simple plastique mais en plastique tendre et donc incassable.

Smaller than expected but high in detail and met my needs.

Die Figur macht auf den ersten Blick einen lebensnahen Eindruck. Das Plastik ist etwas biegsam, so dass auch die dünnen Fühler nicht abbrechen können. Wie beim Original sind die Scheren unterschiedlich geformt. Die Färbung ist, wie beim lebenden amerikanischen Hummer, hauptsächlich dunkel bis dunkelrot mit schwarzen Punkten. Knallrot würde er erst beim Kochen. Er ist mit einem Glanzlack überzogen, was gut zu dem Meerestier passt.Der übrigens auch auf der Bauschseite detaillierte Hummer macht sich wunderbar als Deko auf dem Küchentisch. Er wirkt dort so realistisch, dass man Appetit auf Meeresfrüchte bekommt.
