Saw it on Hot Ones and noticed multiple guests stop to say that they really liked this sauce so I had to try it for myself. Love this stuff. Very good. almost a slight chili flavor. And the habanero flavor is great. It is just hot enough to be a great go-to sauce. Not too hot where it's a once in a while use sauce, and not too mild where it leaves you wanting more. And it's a softer spicy so if you aren't a super hot spicy fan it's not a really sharp and painful spicy and it doesn't linger. And if you want to ease into it or if you want to dull it down for certain foods that you want the flavor but not the spice, cut it with some ketchup. When you do, it almost turns into a whole different sauce and it's great. I like the spice and I even still cut it with ketchup sometimes. I do wish the bottle was a little more pliable/squeezable. It looks like a squeeze bottle and the design of the top cap (very similar to a ketchup bottle cap design) also indicates a squeeze bottle, but yet the bottle is firm and hard. This makes it a little hard to squeeze out. It's almost as if they don't want you to waste it by accidentally squeezing out too much, but don't you think they would actually want you to do that? because waste our not, you know I'm coming back for more once I finish this bottle. Or, it's as if it's helping you not squeeze out too much because it's a Crazy spicy sauce and you only need a little bit, but its not, so I'm not sure whats up with the bottle. But, that has nothing to do with the sauce itself so I easily still give it 5 Stars!

I am a hot sauce expert (can't spell conosewer), so I know my hot sauce. And in my book hotsauce is one word. This one is very very good. I find myself passing up my other hot sauces and choosing the Secret Aardvark. Why aardvark has two A's in it, I don't know, but whatever is in the sauce is friggen delicious. It is pretty darn hot, not face melting at all, but it will get your attention. What I really like is the flavor. It seems to be good on whatever I put it on. It's hard to compare it to anything because it is pretty unique, but it is somewhat thick and has bits of spices in it. I have used it as a steak sauce which works beautifully. I have put it on chicken, potatoes, ramen noodles, and even tuna salad. I haven't tried it on ice cream, because I have Mike's Hot Honey for that (try it!), but I don't think ice cream is the right fit for it. But any kind of meat or fish and some vegetables are going to be great. I will definitely keep it in my regular rotation.

So, I recently on a whim got into hot sauce buying and trying after watching a Hot Wings episode where Gordon Ramsay complimented the sauces. I googled some of the top hot sauces and this was a usual suspect, so I started here and have since gone on to several dozens of them. I gotta say this is by far still my favorite and is absolutely delicious, totally worth a buy and try. It works on everything, having used it on tacos, sandwiches, Pho, Korean BBQ, and even simple breakfast potatoes and no matter what the flavor of the dish is this was so good as to complement and enhance them. Overall, it is stellar and amazing and totally worth 5 stars but alas it has one small but huge issue. THE SIZE! At first buy I had no problem with the relatively tiny size these come in because other than generic hot sauces I had no reference for good or bad size but after buying other brands I realize this is much too small. For other brands the small size they may have is offset by the rarity of use of the hot sauce for whatever reason but that is explicitly not the case for this brand because it is so good and goes with everything that the bottle is gone in within a flash and you’ll have to buy even more which does add up quite quickly. If they made it larger and upped the cost that would be very reasonable but as of now with the small size I can say you must buy and try this but if you’re an avid hot sauce or heat lover you’ll find yourself buying this much too often. Otherwise a 5/5 absolute flavor bomb and MUST HAVE!

I want to start with, I love this sauce. I'll also say it has it's Pros and Cons. It's a wonderfully tasty medley of flavors with a very reasonable amount of heat, at the very least what you expect from a habanero. The vinegar is the first taste to hit the palate, with an immediate kick of habanero, followed by a sudden after taste of roasted tomatoes and carrot! I actually thought the carrot would taste a little strange with this combination, personally, but as it turns out it blends so very well with the other flavors. I use this sauce with my chicken and chicken wings primarily, but it can mix extremely well with many other sizes to add a flavorful spice! I personally use it with ranch and it's an amazing combination, it also cuts down on the heat tremendously which is good for myself. I like a little heat but have to be careful with it, this sauce is certainly a 6/10 on the scale, so a bit spicy. Pros - Wonderful taste. Good amount of heat for spice lovers. Goes super well with ranch. Cons - Small bottle. Plastic vs Glass. Little pricey for it's size. On the hotter end of spicy for those who can't tolerate spice but want a small kick.

One of my favorite sauces from Hot Ones. This Aardvark sauce, in addition to having great bottle art and a reasonable name--aren't we all sick of hot sauces called Satan's Sunburn or some other ridiculous nonsense?--has a great flavor and heat. There's tang from the vinegar balanced by sweetness and richness from carrots and peppers. The heat comes on smoothly and is, for me, the perfect level to let you know you're eating hot sauce without making it the only thing you're eating. This sauce is also the perfect viscosity. Turn over the bottle and give a little shake or squeeze for an easy to allocate dollop of sauce. Great sauce for pizza, wings, or add to sauces for a great, rounded kick. This isn't the type of sauce for Mexican or most Asian foods, but it's worth making room for in your no-doubt jam-packed refrigerator door. I'll admit I've at times just squeezed out some sauce on Ritz crackers for a delicious snack with a lingering zing. Excellent.

This stuff for those that don't get the flavor discretion I got one it's like picante salsa flavor.mixed with tabasco. It's is great on alot of stuff on my spaghetti it tasted lile i only but tobacco sauce heat in there minus the vinegar taste and on my breakfast burrito it was like put a great qaulity picante sauce with that Tabasco sauce like heat again minus the vinegar. That's 2 examples this stuff is awesome I love and use way hotter sauce but this is a perfect sauce a great balance between flavor and heat it just enough heat to make me happy and enough to make my wife enjoy but still be on the tip of to much for her but it is her new favorite and mine for an everything hot sauce and it's great for the times I run out of my hotter stuff or I dint feel lile eatn something supper hot. By that I mean my take every where hot sauces for me is Elijah extreme Blair's after death or caljohns scorpion sauce but thats cause i love chillies. I wouldy just to lile to see this same recipe but instead if hobanero pepper maybe ghost or scorpion like i said same exact sauce just made with a hotter pepper and then i would take this everywhere.

I heard alot of hype about this sauce when I was getting more into hot sauces. I thought "there's no way it could be that good, could it?". I tried it for the first time on a crispy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and the taste absolutely floored me. When it comes to heat this is a mild sauce. For me it has a hot and delicious tinge on the first bite and then for the rest of the meal it has a nice subtle lingering heat. You can taste the tomatoes and the habanero peppers but they're never overpowering, they leave room for the flavor and a little spicy kick. I try it on anything I can think of and it is an incredibly versatile sauce. I stock a bottle of this sauce at all times, and I encourage anyone that's into hot sauces to try a bottle. Since getting into hot sauces I've moved up to Dave's Insanity, Da Bomb, Widowmaker, The Last Dab, Hottest F***ing Sauce, Mad Dog 357, and several other delicious/maddeningly spicy hot sauces. Eventhough I've gone up in heat, Secret Aardvark is still as pleasant and delicious as the first time I had it (widowmaker is pretty close 2nd though 😉).

This is such a good hot sauce, and until Amazon started stocking it, I could never find it in Australia. You probably first saw it on 'Hot Ones', and it lives up to the hype. It is amazing on eggs!

Sweet Aardvark has very good flavour combinations and does have some heat. Although it's not killer heat it's much hotter than anything we can buy in stores here in Canada where the majority of us just don't have the exposure to hot foods and sauces like our neighbors to the south. We eat bland foods, cook bland dishes, it's that simple. Maybe we splash some Frank's around but that's not hot at all. Heat, like salt, brings out the flavours in food if it's done properly and Sweet Aardvark has such a good blend of spices and heat that I use it in my marinara sauce, soup, on eggs and omlettes, pizza... just about anything including a delicious great Canadian Caesar drink; who doesn't love a spicy Caesar 👍. Overall this hot sauce is excellent and for those of us that enjoy complex flavours with some heat will love this stuff. Those of us that want to sear our mouths and perhaps shed a few tears while not enjoying a robust flavour profile should look elsewhere. The only caveat is the price. It's not cheap, it's going to cost you to enjoy this sauce. Enjoy Sweet Aardvark it's our go-to sauce!!

Daher nicht mejr auf Amazon bestellen sondern in anderen Shops da kostet es immer noch um die 12€ Qualität ist top. Geschmack ist überragend , Schärfe ist auch etwas für Anfänger. Könnte und habe ich schon direkt aus der Flasche getrunken. Die Sauce ist so gut das ich Nachts aufstehe und sie mir direkt in dem Mund träufle. Für alle Chiliheads die eine milde Alltagssauce wollen, oder Anfänger die ordentliche Schärfe und super leckeren Geschmack wollen. Hier seid Ihr richtig. Passt auf alles am besten aber auf Pizza.

First time I have bought this sauce and have used it a lot. Beautiful flavour to start with then the peppers build up heat nicely. Will definitely purchase again
