More pros than cons... Very nice low-cost projector
There are lots of pros to this little projector and only a few cons. I bought one and then another one for my son. My wife and I use it to project a large screen above the bed to watch saves shows from the cable networks. For the price, it's a winner. Most Important PRO advantages Some projectors up here on Amazon, in the same class, said that they'll only run 2 hours !! This one says 24 hours without shut down. This was a huge plus for me since watching two movies exceed two hours. I'm used to projectors running really hot.... This one only uses 50 Watts (as much as a 50 watt light blub) and after running it for hours I can put my hand right next to the vent and it's warm at best..... Very efficient very safe. PROs: Small size small footprint. Strong light output this particular one has about 2400 LM. The fan or fans do put out some white noise noticeable at first but once you're watching your show, not a big deal. The quality of the picture is better than I expected. Some colors do run hot such as reds. These colors can be a little more saturated than others. But I always try to remember this thing sells for way under $100. The price ranges actually quite considerably my first one above for $88 the second one for $77 and now. They have been running $54 at Christmas. I use HDMI from my laptop and it worked without a hitch Neutral : The focus will allow you to focus at a wide level. It may take some turning to get it focused as you want. The focus is a bit flimsy and cheap but works. Now because I project from the base of the bed up the picture is skewed so some words in the corner become very fuzzy but when you're watching a movie you don't really notice. Text does not work on the screen very well small text becomes almost impossible to read but they're very clear in their own definition this is not for Word or Excel Con: The remote control. Common with the infrared remote control but is very directional. You cannot be in front of the projector or on the side to get it to change anything. The infrared receiver is on the back of the projector which makes sense as most people would be behind the projector. But in my case when projecting up on the ceiling no matter how close I am it will pay no attention to the remote. It does not remember your last connection type. So if you select HDMI which takes selecting to the menu and hitting the enter button you have to do that each time you restart the machine. It does not auto sense connections. ALL and ALL its worth it and nice projector

Quality
The images to show you I have it at this time of day about 20 feet from the wall and the image on the wall is about 7.5 foot tall by 14 foot across This particular brand I’ve bought before I’m leaving this review in general. It’s the brand that I found easiest to manage in every day use. I used it with a streaming stick and as soon as you push a button on the streaming stick it would switch to the right input unlike any other projector I’ve had. Other projectors I’ve had require you to turn it on with a remote and then switch that remote to whatever input you want. Only then could you use your streaming stick. I do not understand why these projectors never seem to have a code that allows streaming stick volume to control the projector but that’s a trade-off. You can either get a universal remote or you can just use the original remote for on and volume. In this price range everything says it’s automatic focus and Keystone. Keystone is the most important one because what that actually means is make the edges straight in the corners 90°. Otherwise it could be some weird shape and I haven’t found one that actually does it automatically very well but once you have it set you can tell this one not to do it every time you turn it on and it worked great. Additionally I prefer to do focus myself. One thing I do like is this one allows you to turn focus readjustment on if the camera gets bumped and unless you have it hanging it will get bumped. The sound is better than okay but I really enjoy having it Bluetooth to a receiver with speakers not in surround sound but at least on all sides of me. Consequently surround sound is not the standard anymore it’s “Dolby Atmos “which is to try to make it sound like you’re in the middle of the sound which works well if you just have speakers wrapped around you. If you can afford it laser is the way to go before you buy one check to see how much a replacement light cost. It’s nice to have a screen but a screen does actually limit the size of the picture and you could actually have a picture 8‘ x 12‘ if you want just farther back from the wall. I found painting your wall a light dove grey makes the picture great you don’t want a shiny flat surface. I also found this works well during the day if I close the drapes and don’t have you know 120° direct Sunday. The next jump to full indoor regardless of light conditions as significantly more expensive so if you’re gonna do that I would really just really consider laser. I also really love the idea of the ultra short throw being right up against the wall but it turns out you have to buy a device to move it away from the wall when you want to use it so I keep coming back to a projector. Ultimately this one has a stand that I would pay $75 for without question I have not found one that is as smooth reliable manipulable and actually attractive. So if you buy this one and you decide you love it and you wanna upgrade to laser when it dies keep the stand it’s worth it

Great Projector... for about a year.
I’ve really enjoyed this projector overall and it worked great when I first bought it in June 2025. The image quality and performance were very good for the price, and I was happy with the purchase. However, over time the brightness has significantly dimmed, to the point that the image is now hard to see even in a dark room, which is disappointing. It seems like there may be an issue with the light source or longevity of the projector. I’ve contacted AUKING customer support to ask about troubleshooting, repair, or replacement, and I’m currently waiting for assistance. I’m posting this review to share my experience honestly and will update if customer support helps resolve the issue. If durability improves or the issue is addressed, this would be a much stronger product.

Lasted as long as a middleschool romance, but customer service has your back.
I bought this product in June 2025.shipping was quick and the item arrived as expected. Setup was easy and overall the item is user friendly. I enjoyed the projector until it rapidly stopped working 4 months later. PRO: The auto focus feature. CON: anytime the projection was disrupted or the stand shook slightly the auto focus would readjust. This felt annoying at times when trying to watch a show or movie and the screen goes out. Pro: I enjoyed the large display and did well during daylight. CON: It didn't adjust and match if the projector was on an angle or you have an angle wall even with the manual screen adjustments, it was always off. Not great in small spaces or spaces where you have to be creative with getting everythig to fit. The display began to dim by October (within 4 months from purchase) and by day 2 of dimming the projector stopped working all together. Overall not feeling like i got my money worth. I don't recommend this projector as a long term viewing choice nor would i recommend you purchasing it without the protection plan and a willingness to utilize the plan. Update11/23/25: The seller contacted me to discuss the product and my concerns. They were supportive in listening to my concerns and recommendations. They exchanged my model and gave me further assistance in overcoming the auto focus and angle cons. I will continue to update as I apply these recommendations. The seller and company customer service was 10/10.

Amazing warranty and service. First one broke after almost a year, and they sent the updated model and we love the brighter and sharper picture quality.

Compact Projector, PHENOMENAL Performance
This was my first experience with a Mini Projector. I wanted a highly portable projector but also one that would function and perform as well as a full size projector both indoor and outdoor at home. Well I was truly blown away. First of all, the size was exactly as described but you can really appreciate it when you see it in person and the appearance of the projector is very attractive. Next, I read the manual which is easy to read and understand and I felt totally prepared to get it up and running. The control buttons and their functions are well described and easy to use and understand. I came prepared with 2 cables: First, a 4K 1080P ultra high speed lightning to HDMI cable and a similar quality USB-C to HDMI cable. They are not expensive. It was very important to me that the projector is compatible with multiple devices, specifically iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac OS X) and Windows Desktops and Laptops. There are other capabilities such as Sony PlayStation. Well here is where the fun began! The projector interfaces functioned flawlessly on EVERY device. I viewed videos and pictures from every device as well as DVD’s from a 4K UHD Blu Ray Player and various contents on USB Flash Drives. The colors and definitions were intense and sharp and were as immersive as my 4K UHD OLED TV with its ultra high definition broadcasts. I had similarly fantastic results outdoors with a portable screen. The sound/audio was clear and crisp from the projector and had a perfect blend of bass and treble. The picture was consistently as beautiful as I described at all projection sizes outdoors (35 to 170 inches). The fan noise was very quiet and I felt is was almost imperceptible. The projector has wireless HDMI capability and I plan to utilize that too when I get a wireless HDMI adapter. I’ll update the review potentially with video when I get the adapter. I have multiple products from AuKing and their customer service and support are unparalleled (5 Star). I highly recommend this mini projector without reservation.

Wow
It's lightweight, comes with HDMI,Remote,Power Cord. I just plugged HDMI to my computer and powered on the projector. Now for technical stuff. It has basic display profiles and 1 custom profile called "personal". That lets you adjust Contrast,Saturation,Brightness,Tint, and various other settings like noise reduction and so on. With these settings I was able to match my laptop monitor's display to the projected images and movies. Just be aware that everything you use has those settings. For example your computer's brightness or contrast my be too high or low than the projected image, that's controllable under your computers settings. The projector has its settings on top of the used device's settings. The 1080 computer via HDMI was projected fine with great details. Although it seemed a tad too sharp, the projector had sharpness at 50%, I turned it down to 20% to get rid of any pixelation due to the high sharpening Also note your video player inside the computer will also have these adjustable settings, so plenty of ways to project what you see and color correction. Cons - 1 custom setting. I noticed that depending on what movies or images you view you have to tweak the contrast and brightness levels for exact match. Watching Anime is very bright and skin tones can look pure white or over bright, so had to adjust brightness and contrast lower. Some movies where too dark so I had to kick brightness and contrast up. Conclusion - As stated right out of the box the projector is nice and very sharp clear pictures. Well worth the price, yes it is bright enough if that's your hesitation, it is bright. My review was about the control you can have with its settings to enhance and correct your image or movie quality. Sharpness can make very clear yet pixelation at high levels, and at low levels makes images look smooth then dream like. This was a great buy, I got me a large HD screen for an amazing price. Should have got one sooner. Also the posted images from others do not justify quality. That Avengers movie picture looks smudgy like had high sharpening and high noise reduction at same time. And that Toon movie looks too soft and tint was off probably due to the camera trying to match white balance with a bright image. Trust me the image quality was clean, bright, clear, and adjustable. Just don't expect 4k quality. If your looking for that go to the expensive projectors. Also it was well protected, even inside its own box it was wrapped with half inch plastic air pockets.

Some issues
Update after a month: the picture quality is still great. Noise level on fan is still decently quiet. I was unable to have decent sound quality from Bluetooth and opted into computer speakers connected with an auxiliary cable and sound quality now. One concerning issue I had was that the projector would turn itself on every morning. It had the latest update and customer service is responsive however I ended up finding the solution in disconnecting the projector itself from wifi. I solely use a Roku device for streaming and no longer rely on the sub par operating system. Again picture quality is great but as a “smart” device it is lacking. Initial review: As a basic projector it works great. The auto focus and leveling features work perfectly. The first issue I encountered was with connecting to my Bose sound flex speaker. The volume was very quiet when set to max and I could not manually turn it up on the speaker itself. The built in speakers are “loud enough” but similar to the quality you would get from laptop speakers. Not efficient for movie night in my opinion. My fix to this was purchasing computer speakers that can connect with an Auxiliary cable. Second issue is the operating system. For Netflix and prime video it seems fine so far, but for Disney plus and Hulu (which are the only available apps) it is very slow and would constantly buffer (I am connected to ATT fiber wifi). You would be better off having a fire stick attached. The third issue I’ve encountered is that my specific one seems to be turning on by itself at 7 am every morning. I’ve gone through the settings and there doesn’t seem to be an auto on feature or anything to disable this from happening. I rate this three star as it does have good picture quality, but as a smart projector it is lacking.

Great little investment within Budget
Love the projector when I first saw it. Doesn't need set up much. All I did is to connect my Chromecast and then I can connect it to my phone, my laptop and tablet easily with just the Chromecast. May try it with my tv box later. Wish I can post pictures but Amazon doesn't allow me to post the one I want. It actually works well on my popcorn celling. Best to use it in a dark environment but light turn on in room is fine too.

Seems to work ok
I haven't used it for watching any videos yet, so I can't review the quality for that. I used it to project an image onto the wall to paint a mural, and it worked perfectly. It ended up being 16 ft wide and 9 ft tall. It Could have even been bigger before it started to get blurry. It lost 1 star for me for 2 reasons...The menu is a little bit frustrating to use...(play, pause, skip forward etc)once you figure it out it's not terrible. it definitely could be better. And the fan is a bit loud. It kicks on immediately, as soon as you turn the power on. I didn't mind really because I was only tracing an image, but it might be irritating if your trying to watch a movie.. I will update my review once I DO use it to watch a movie. For the price you pay, this projector is great. I'm happy with it so far

Pésima compra
El proyector se prende por sí solo en la noche y en 2 meses de uso ya no da imagen
