Great little pump at a good price.
I purchased this pump to replace one that I bought at the Nike Employee Store in the early 1990's. It was still working, but someone left it in the driveway and it was run over :( This is very similar in size and function to the one we had, so it seemed a good choice. I know that some reviews indicated the quality was not great and that plastic parts could break. Here is my opinion. This is a small foot pump. This is not meant to be used to ... vigorously. I did notice when I was getting impatient pumping up the tires on the riding lawnmower that the pump jumped around a little which reminded me to pay closer attention and make sure I was only stepping on the intended part of the pump to force the air into the tire. When rating this pump, I have considered the size of the pump, which is in the description, and the relative size of the foot pad. Based on that, I am quite happy with the pumps performance so far. I also considered that I paid around $10 - so my expectations were based on those factors. I have inflated the lawnmower tires, an exercise ball, and some sports balls. It works great. I will update this review after a few months to see how it holds up.

Garbage. Use 1 time and it falls apart.
This foot pump is trash. Amazon should be ashamed for selling it. Out of the box it's clear that it is shoddily constructed, but since i purchased it, I decided to use it. Immediately the metal begins to bend as though it's made from tin. Screws come out and render the item useless. Quickly becomes landfill fodder. Absolute trash. How hard is it to build a foot pump?

Tried and true!
This foot pump works so much easier than a hand bike pump and I really like it's compact size. I have used many bike pumps in my life but this foot pump is the best. Think about it the muscles in our legs are more powerful than the ones in our arms... this just makes sense. One of it's smart features is the pressure gage which makes it less likely to over inflate. It also came with extra accessories incase I ever want to inflate a ball or a tire with a different type of air spout. This pump was worth every penny.

the product ceases to be workable
you can pump up one wheel, then the hose flies off the pump. the pump can work for 3 minutes, then it should cool down for 5-10 minutes. therefore, to pump up one wheel, you need to do 2-3 approaches. the hose falls off the pump because the reducer gets hot and the hose rubber softens and flies off the reducer. the hose can be put on the gearbox again, wait until it cools down and try to pump again. In order to save money, the gearbox was made very small and without cooling fins, so this is not an engineer's mistake, this is the greed of the capitalists, who reduce the cost of production to such an extent until the product ceases to be workable.

Did not arrive with adapters! Looks and feels cheap, but seems to be working for now.
It's unclear if I got a used return or if a lot of them just look like this. The quality isn't the best, I'm not sure how well it will last. It is working so far at least. It arrived looking very rough, there are random scuffs all over. Some of the scuffs appear to be manufacturing issues, like the gauge having missing paint on the inside of the gauge itself. I can't say that I would trust it to be accurate. Did not come with the adapters advertised, but they aren't shown in the product photo either so maybe that's something not meant to be bundled with this pump?

Excellent Foot Pump, Classic
This is the pump you want, old school, classic, WORKS. I bought a more expensive double barrel pump recently to inflate the tires on my motorcycle, and the thing ended up being a hunk of junk that did not work. Tossed the more expensive pump in the garage and bought one of these instead. These pumps are great and reliable. If you need a pump, buy this one. Sometimes cheaper is actually better.

Falls apart after only two uses
I bought this pump several times because I like the foot pump style - it's quick, easy, and small - and I put up with the flimsy design because it's so inexpensive. Use it a few months, it breaks, get another. It's only $6. But then somehow they got even worse. These are basically disposable pumps at this point - they now fall apart after one or two uses. I wish they had a sturdier version for more money. I imagine landfills clogged with mountains of these useless pumps and it erases all my earth-friendly bike riding... sigh. Life is hard. Buy better bike pumps than this.

The Pump works well enough to go its gob however the pedal and hinges leave a bit to be desired and require some structural re-enforcement. the pump device itself is well made but squeaks heavily when used
