Gorilla Rack GRZ6-3618-5BPCB 36 by 18 by 72-Inch Shelving Unit with 5-shelf, Black

This shelve was purchase to store janitorial supplies. Even thought it is not holding much weight, it is an excellent sturdy unit. Looking into buying some more of these for additional storage.

I have purchased 10 or more Genuine Gorilla racks over the years. They are sturdy and well built. The $275 I spent for 2 of these resulted in disappointment. First, they are “Muscle Rack” brand, not Gorilla. Design is similar but sturdiness and quality is far inferior. 2nd the two boxes came from different locations and different carriers days apart. 3rd boxes were badly damaged and some of the parts were bent and some missing altogether. All in all I would have been better off buying something locally. 4th I just saw this brand and size in Home Depot for about half the price. Terrible experience start to finish.

We own 5 of these. Two are 14 years old and they are still working well. Three are new and we see a little difference in the overall heft but they seem every bit as serviceable. We recently down-sized our house and have a new garage which is quite a bit smaller. These are saving our lives in terms of storage; tools, art supplies, canning supplies, luggage, the list goes on.

This works for a garage or basement but I wouldn't put it where anyone can see it. The shelves appear to be made of cheap particle board. It seems sort of sturdy, but nowhere near the advertised strength. Mine was shipped without any packaging material around the retail cardboard box and it had a giant hole in the side. I ended up missing two metal pieces that I'm guessing were lost during shipping. GR was just ok - just plan on leaving your support inquiry on a voicemail like it's 1999.

Using gorilla racks previously, this is the cheaper version. It was quick to put together but not as strong or pleasing to look at as the older versions with folded metal posts which are smooth and solid. I used them nonetheless for items that are not heavy. It is a lightweight rack.Also, these shelves are not interchangeable with the older version despite being the same size. I was able to find the better version on another website, however, in white.

Very sturdy! My father-in-law has about 4 of these in his garage and he bough one for our new house. We then ordered 4 more! They are easy to put together and are very sturdy. They fit nicely next to one another as well.

It works well and looks nice. helps keeps things around the office neat and clean. Definitely recommend for home or office use.

Cheaply made, very flimsy. Two piece uprights. particle board shelves with no bracing. This is the first item I have ever regretted buying from Amazon. I don't expect them to last more than a couple of years.
