The scent of the powder is pleasant but subtle so it won't mask or distort the complexity of any other perfume if applied. I do feel that the packaging could do with a little more thought though. I say this because the lid is difficult to remove unless one uses a tool of some sort to prise the package open (in my case a filleting knife). I'm pretty sure it would not be difficult to design a lid that fitted over the top of the box instead of being literally rammed underneath the rim with no obvious means of removing it.
