bought to combat benzodiazepine withdrawals as part of synergistic blend of herbal supplements
Out of all the herbal supplements that I've tried that had potential to elevate GABA levels, this one was one of the candidates that I perceived to have a perceptible effect on anxiety, although not as effective as standardized Lemon Balm, Valerian, or Honokiol. It is a 4:1 ratio extract so it's better than some of the other Chinese (Baikal) Skullcap (scutellaria baicalensis) extracts out there. If a product doesn't advertise a ratio then it is almost certainly a 1:1 or non-concentrated extract which means you'll have to swallow a lot of capsules to get any benefit. With this 4:1 formulation, I take two capsules in the morning with lemon balm, honokiol, and chamomile and one at night with lemon balm, honokiol, chamomile, valerian, and melatonin.

Great (or perhaps best) brand, great (top 2 at least) pricing and great shipping / delivery speeds. The product itself, and the herb itself, seem to have a noticeable effect and assist with anxiety and / or sleep. Recommendable and worth trying, given both that I recommended it to a friend and because of the science from reliable sources (i.e. NIH, UMM, even Wiki) regarding it's chemicals, their effects and it's general potency. It may be preferable to get Chinese skullcap over American, though rarer.

Works great for sleep and waking up refreshed
Recommended by my neurologist as a natural sleep aid. You wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy like with prescription sleep meds. Directions say take two but I only take one when I can’t get to sleep and it is the perfect amount for me and I weigh 140 if that helps.

I asked the manufacturer the country of origin after supplying the lot# of my bottle and was told it’s sourced from multiple countries and follows cGMP regulations.

Good Price, Good Product
I take the encapsulated form of Skullcap, as a prevention for the "Herx" symptoms I get, from having chronic Lyme Disease and being treated with antibiotics for it. I typically use a Skullcap tincture, but find that Skullcap capsules work quite well also. And are a lot less expensive.
