Using a pair of these Veracity VHWHW to extend internet from house to gate
We are using a pair of these Veracity units to connect a driveway smart gate system that requires an internet connection to a main house where the modem is at. We are connecting the units with an existing RG6 quad shield copper cable. So far so good! These are 100 BaseT only and indeed measured out as such so if you have heavy bandwidth requirements these might not work for you.Don't forget to also purchase the required 12V power supply for each unit, we used:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0792261BP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1Hoping these Veracity units last and don't malfunction as another reviewer posted!

Solved my problem
I'm using a pair of these to share an internet connection between 2 buildings about 1/4 mile apart. When we trenched a water line between them we decided to drop RG11 coax in the same ditch and installed a Veracity high wire converter at each end. One building had broadband availability but a steep hill and heavy forest separated the 2 buildings and made a wireless bridge seem unlikely. We now have a high speed internet connection in both buildings. Been up and running for over 1 year.

Buy this if you want to replace it often!
This product is unreliable. We have replaced it 3 times since initial installation in 2015. We last replaced it in April of this year.Veracity no longer responds to our requests. Think about it, how can we be only the second review on amazon when this product has been on the market for years? Our original purchase was through a distributor (ADI) and they no longer will honor the warranty. We are moving our customer to a wireless bridge.
