Bought for a family member after a fall. They have been perfect for her walks. I feel better about her walking alone again because she is fully capable.These are great for all ages. I recently borrowed them for a local hike! They also act as good “testers” to make sure ground or rocks are stable.

These “ sticks” are great!!! My husband has balance issues and the handle grip certainly helps, as he is able to hold himself correctly.

The grip and having them be collapsible is great. They are solid when put together and easy to collapse. My only real complaint is that they should come with straps. I’m keeping them but have ordered some universal straps. I don’t want to have to pick one up if I lose my grip on it. Your other poles have straps, so make these with some as well or at least offer straps that can be put on them given the higher price point.

Great device to help you walk

I can highly recommend these poles and this company! I bought my poles before they had all the choices for a larger hand grip and wrist straps (some of the negative reviews I have seen). As a bilateral amputee with prosthetic legs the poles are extremely helpful maintaining my balance and the Motivator grip really helps maintain my control. Learning to walk with my prosthetics has been a slow process - first walking with a rollator and then graduating to these walking poles. I started with some recommended nordic walking poles but found the grip on the York poles to be superior for controlling where I place the poles and catching myself it I get out of balance. The poles have encouraged me to walk more erect than I could be with the rollator.However, I am most impressed with the customer service. As I was deciding what poles to buy, I talked through the issues with customer support and made the best I choice with their product line at the time. However, I emailed and asked last Saturday about whether I could get larger Motivator grips. I got a response from Lauren DeLong, the company founder, within an hour and she offered to swap for the newer poles with a larger grip and extra length for my height. I got the poles five days later and couldn't be happier! The right poles from a great company.
