Would this accommodate a bowl 12" in width 5" in height?

Yes, absolutely! The material the product is made out of allows for you to bend it to accommodate for different size bowls/plates. One of the reasons I have 6 of these holders, I love them! I also change my displays often and have to reposition the holder for the next size bowl/product. Hope that helps.

Will this stand accommodate at deep platter 27" across?

I do believe it will. You can spread the front stopper parts pretty wide and then just center the platter on it. The great thing about this stand is you can bend it to how you need it. The back of the stand will bend backwards pretty far too which can totally accommodate deep bowls. It's the perfect stand. The only stand we could find that would work for our super deep bowl.

Will it support a platter that is 17"H x 10H

I have a heavy glass plate standing on this support and the size of my plate is about 18 X 18. Holds just fine.

Will this stand hold a framed 8 x 10" photograph? If not, any suggestions for a better stand? Thank you!

It would but depending on the style of the picture and frame attached it would not be my 1st choice. It works "great" for a bowl or a plate as is adjustible at the bottom. For a picture I would look further on line with amazon for an easel or at places like Hobby Lobby or other craft stores and think you would find something better suited for you.

I order five of these for displaying plates and bowls on top of my kitchen cabinets and expected to have to wait a while based on some of the other reviews I read. To my surprise they arrived almost immediately! I think I had my kitchen project completed about three or four days after I placed the order- considering this was not a Prime purchase I was very pleased with that turnaround time!The stands were indeed easy to bend, but in a good way. This one size helped me display 12" flat plates, 6" flat plates, and a massive super-deep serving bowl. Everything I put on them was ceramic, so I had to be confidant the stands would hold and I wouldn't come home one day to broken plates all over my kitchen floor... Something I was originally dreading, as some of the items are sentimental. Luckily I have no fear of that happening anymore- it's been a few weeks and nothing has budged!Very happy with my purchase, I will likely be ordering a few more in the future as I get the rest of the house put together! Thank you!!!
