Delivers fast. Super yummy. We love slap your mama on everything, with kids use sparingly but it’s very delicious and they ask for it to be used. Will 100% buy again. Not super spicy, like more spice flavor? Add more.

It's one of their best products and hard to find in stores so I don't mind paying a little more to get it on Amazon.

I liked this version with the white pepper, which is much lower in oxulates (spell?) than the black pepper. Of all the spices, black pepper has the highest oxulates, which is bad news if you are predispose to kidney stones. It has no sweeteners nor seed oils. It tastes great! I use this all the time. I just wish it was sold in the local stores. I've checked several grocery stores near me. They only sell the Black pepper version. Too bad.

Somewhere in the years between the first one that I bought and this new one, they changed something. It used to be that you wanted to go very light on it because it was very strong, and a little bit went a long way. Now it is much more toned down, so you use a lot more to get the same flavor. That being said, it's very good. It's got very simplistic, clean ingredients which I highly appreciate, and it goes well on so many things you'd be surprised.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed a Cajun season for a seafood boil. I loved the name and the ingredient list seemed right. This item is beyond terrific. The flavor it brings to a seafood boil is perfect! I feel like I’m in New Orleans. The size was a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but the robust flavor makes it worth it. I will definitely purchase again.

I've tried many Cajun seasonings over the years, and this one is hands down my favorite. I still use others, including the regular "Slap Ya Mama" (and a couple of others), but I find myself consistently turning to this one - so much so in fact that even though I was unaware off it at the time, my wife noticed that I had moved it closest to the door in our cabinet. I can't help it... I put it on toast with butter, fried egg sandwiches, soups, certain salads, meats, Asian dishes... pretty much anything that can use a little kick. With that said, I like it hot, and this is hot, but it's not TOO hot because the white pepper has more of a bite as opposed to the burn of cayanne... and I love the taste and aroma of the white pepper! That's unique for sure, and I think it's interesting enough that it stands on its own for me, meaning that I don't think of it as "Cajun" seasoning as much as I do "white pepper" spice blend. It's also fresh, or at least fresher than what I'm getting off of my grocers shelves. With spices that makes a huge difference! As to authenticity, this is the white pepper blend so I'm not sure exactly how authentic that is if you're trying to replicate a specific dish, but I know there's a huge variance in what people use; and I can certainly testify that it's got more "Cajun" flavor than some of those big name brands. DEFINITELY WORTH TRYING!

Absolutely delicious!! Anyone who likes spicy in there food, this is the bomb!! I love that the heat is not overpowering to the flavor. Use a little for just a mild kick to your food, or turn it up with a few extra shakes, and it isn't salty like most spices & seasonings. I use it on everything including sandwiches, eggs, soups etc ❤ love it

Good gumbos

This is fantastic on everything from an English breakfast to a main meal. Not too salty but with just the right amount of heat. There is not too much difference between the white pot and yellow pot just that the yellow one is black pepper. Would massively recommend as a go to👍🏻

I enjoy it. If it was cheaper It would likely become a staple in my pantry, but at swinging prices on amazon, from 12-17 dollars a can I don't know if ill continue to buy it. I think if I was american instead of canadian it would be more available affordably.
