You can use a variety of stitches and has a booklet and hook included, and you get 2 looms for men and women or average and larger socks. As its finer gauge the socks look very much hand knitted. Had to take a while to get used to holding the shape but soon found my rhythm. Very sturdy quality eith fused pegs not like the other looms where pegs can pop out. I casted on with 4ply sock wool straight away and it feels great. Easy to hold , comfortable to knit with and clear to see.
