These are not for use with fixed braces. The description is misleading. The package clearly states "not for use with fixed braces."

This mouth guard is advertised for adults and children with braces. I followed the directions and it would not fit into my mouth with any level of comfort.It was too narrow to fit my top jaw. And too bulky to fit my bottom jaw.So much plastic- I wanted something thinner.I’m not using it for a sports protective cover I wanted it to help me sleep better without grinding my teeth.This isn’t for everyone
