Dirty Harry Collection [Clint Eastwood] [DVD]

Great SD quality for this classic cop collection. The sound is good the films are even better with the expectation of the dead pool easily the weakest of the whole series. But we have 4other classic cop movies with good scripts and performances from all involved. If you don't have those movies in your collection you should add them right away and without delay. Excellent set.

What you would expect from Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood at his best! I loved these movies the first time round and was delighted to find all the Harry Callahan movies together. I was expecting a box set but they arrived in a single narrow case (not bothered by that, to be honest I’m pleased as they won’t take up so much space on my shelf. The ONLY thing that troubled me was that the entire DVD sleeve was in English but all the disc labels appear to be in Spanish so I couldn’t tell which disc was what…… until I found the movie title in very small print on the edge of each label. I’ll haven’t played any of them as yet but if there’s a problem I’ll let you know!

Great, loved every minute watching this again

5 classic, no-nonsense cop/action movies in one box for a ridiculously cheap price? Sold. I miss Mr. Eastwood's completely un-PC way of going about things as Dirty Harry so it's great to re-live these excellent films in an age where we're swamped by exactly the sort of people and systems that tried to hold back Harry Callahan from just getting the job done. I'd honestly rather buy this collection than the latest Blu Ray of whatever Hollywood is churning out today. The one downside is that only the first movie has a double-disc edition BUT every film is remastered so it's probably the best you'll get on DVD. The price at the time of my purchase was £9.99 and I was certainly feeling lucky when the set landed on my doormat. Not sure I'd class myself as a punk though...

I was a bit disappointed by this box set. I thought each movie is in a separate dvd case but it turns out that there's only three cases. Two movies per case. Except for the original Dirty Harry movie. That one gets a separate case. Robocop Trilogy "box" set turned out to be just one blue-ray case so this one is a proper box set and it's definitely a lot bigger than the Lethal Weapon one. It looks cool and fits perfectly into any movie collection. Definitely worth the full price. I'm "reviewing" and uploading pictures of every single box set I've purchased so other people don't have to get disappointed or wonder how each set looks like.

Habe die DVD-Version der Dirty Harry 6 Disc Collection bei Amazon UK für 21,23 € (inkl MwSt) erstanden. Die Filme sind Remastered und die Bildqualität ist entsprechend sehr gut. Alle 5 Filme verfügen über eine deutsche Tonspur. Die Bonus Disc zum ersten Teil von Dirty Harry mit den Specials "The Man from Malpaso" (1994) und "The Long Shadow of Dirty Harry" (2008) hat wie üblich nur englischen Ton. Alle anderen Discs haben neben der deutschen auch eine englische und eine spanische Tonspur. Die einzelnen Discs sind auf spanisch beschriftet. Der englische Originaltitel findet sich jeweils in klein unten links. Das Cover der DVD-Hülle ist auf Englisch. Auf dem Cover ist für Sprache und Untertitel ausschließlich Englisch angegeben. Auf den Discs befindet sich deutlich mehr. Die Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) bzw. EAN der Collection ist laut Barcode auf dem Cover: 5051892005401.

Sono un fan di questi film dell'Ispettore Callaghan. In lingua originale per assaporarli nella loro reale consistenza, così come l'eccellente interpretazione di Clint Eastwood. Atmosfera anni '70 da paura, film semplici ma di grande impatto. Polizieschi come non se ne fanno più. Non ci sono effetti speciali, nulla...eppure...

Film in in lingua inglese, come cercavo, per cui 4 stelle. Tuttavia se su Amazon fossero state pubblicate le lingue disponibili forse sarebbe stato meglio (italiano assente, altri commenti lo davano disponibile).

Als die Filme damals auf VHS erschienen habe ich sie verschlungen und auch später wieder und wieder angeschaut. Andere Rezensenten haben hier die BluRay-Ausgabe besprochen, ich kaufte die DVD-Edition. Immer war ich auf der Suche nach einer DVD- oder BluRay-Edititon. Aber, ich gebe zu, bis dato waren mir die einzelnen Filme immer zu teuer. Dank Amazon-Marketplace, konnte ich alle fünf Dirty-Harry-Filme endlich für kleines Geld erwerben. Der "reguläre" Amazon-Preis von ca. 45,-- Euro ist bereits oK, aber der Anbieter "ZOverstocksDE" bot die Box für schlappe 16,54 Euro feil, da konnte ich nicht mehr wiederstehen. Weil die Filme hinreichend bekannt sind, möchte ich nur folgendes anmerken: 1. der erste Film ist als Doppel-DVD in einer FSK 18 Version, bzw. der englischen Entsprechung dabei, mit vielen Extras, wie Kommentaren von Richard Schickel, Interwievs, Dirt-Harry-Trailer-Gallery und vielem mehr. 2. die übrigen Teile sind ebenfalls mit der britischen Kennzeichnung ab 18 Jahre versehen. Auf allen Filmen prangt zusätzlich "Contains strong bloody violence and sexual violence" 3. die Bildqualität ist, auf der DVD-Ausgabe, wirklich gut, ich glaube fast, das die BluRay-Version nicht unbedingt vonnöten ist, da es sich ja auch um teilweise 40 Jahre altes Filmmaterial handelt. Aber das sollte jeder selbst entscheiden, ist, so war es bei mir, auch eine Frage des Geldbeutels. 4. der, von einigen kritisierte deutsche Ton ist "natürlich" nicht so knackig und brillant, wie die original Tonspur, aber, bedenkt man das Alter der Filme (s.o.), empfinde ich die Tonqualität als mehr als ausreichend, besser als der Ton der VHS-Kassetten (HiFi) ist er allemal. 5. die Filme sind in drei Doppel-DVD-Hüllen untergebracht. - Wie erwähnt, der erste Film als 2-Disc-Special-Edition, die übrigen vier auf jeweils einer Silberscheibe asl "Deluxe-Edition". Immer zwei in einer Hülle. - Bei letzteren sind die Film-Cover auf der Vorder- bzw. Rückseite der Hüllen, also nicht, wie meißtens, vorne das Cover-Bild und auf der Rückseite Film-Infos etc. Diese befinden sich auf der Innenseite und man muß die DVDs, oder das Cover herausnehmen, um sie lesen zu können. - Alle zusammen befinden sich in einem ordentlichen Papp-Schuber. Die Filme waren und sind stilbildend für alle folgenden Actionfilme. Für alle Clint Eastwood respektive Dirty-Harry-Fans eine klare Kaufempfehlung. LG Oliver Interessant fand ich bei der Zustellung, das ich die Ware NICHT persönlich in Empfang nehmen mußte, sondern das Paket bei meinem Nachbar abgegeben worden ist. Die alte Fernseh-Serie " The Time Tunnel ", die "FSK"- bzw. "BBFC"-Kennzeichnung ab 12 Jahren hat, mußte ich persönlich übernehmen. Die Begründung war/ist, das Jüngere einige Szenen der Serie nur gemeinsam mit einem Erwachsenene sehen sollten....
