We laid the canopy in the grass. Sprayed it, waited for a few minutes, and began scrubbing it lightly with a broom when suddenly the stripes began to appear!!! We cleaned it twice. Hosed it off by hanging it on the support poles. We installed the awning while it was still damp. AND… the solution suds up while cleaning but once it’s rinsed off the canopy, the suds disappear.
