My living room is poorly lit, so I bought this to act as an additional light source next to the armchair. Assembly was easy; it only took a minute or two from opening the box to plugging it in. The way the lampshade goes together is highly unusual; it comes flat, and the two ends meet with Velcro. It's unexpected but not bad; the shade can't get crushed in shipping due to this design. I love the look of the lamp and I will be purchasing the matching table lamps in the future. It's unique, has a great wooden look, and is sturdy. Some people mentioned that the seams where you assemble the pieces are visible. This is accurate, but they're not that noticeable and don't bother me. Since it doesn't come in one piece, these seams are inevitable, and you can see where they are in the product photos. Another thing is that the lampshade hangs slightly crooked. Again, it will be a matter of personal preference whether it bothers you or not. This was perfect for me because I use it partially as a reading lamp, so the angle was a bonus, but I could see how this would annoy others. Overall, this is a great lamp. As someone with a more rustic taste who hates the generic "modern" lamp styles found in stores, it is exactly what I was looking for. Some of the characteristics others did not like are my favorite things about the lamp. So, consider your personal tastes and look at the photos before you buy it. If you do that, there will be no surprises, and you will be happy with it. Edit: After owning it for a few months, the lampshade has straightened itself and no longer hangs crooked. Don't understand why, but there you go.

It's sturdy and a nice looking lamp. Very easy to assemble. I looove the night light on it.

Far exceeded what I would have expected for an online unseen floor lamp. It was easy to assemble. The cord is extra long making it easy to place just about anywhere in our nursery. Love the remote and foot switch. I use it every night in the nursery for diaper changes. The different light settings make this great for all kinds of uses. I like the low light setting for diaper changes. It provides enough light without waking up my baby too much.

Cute lamp! But sadly mine came with a few issues and broke during assembly, and I was past the return date. Amending my review as the seller reached out to make it right.

The perfect lamp for our nursery! Its easy to put together, remote operated and the color changing light ads the perfect tone to the room. Need one for every room!!

I LOVED this lamp so much. I even bought a second one after getting the first. it truly looks like wood. I think it is lol, but it is amazing having the top part on or the bottom part that we use as a nightlight and it just has all of these shades. It looks beautiful. I love it and I especially love having two.! Hope this helps

My biggest gripe is that this leans at a bit of an angle that I find fairly obvious. I also found it difficult to get the pieces of the lamp screwed tightly enough together to make the lamp shade hang over the base, rather than in a different direction. Finally this was quite a bit shorter than I had envisioned, although that is probably my fault for not reading the dimensions well. Ultimately I’ve decided to return it.

Definitely the favorite lamp in the house once I understood the remote!
