The Primus All Weather shoes aren't exactly insulated, but they do protect well against wetness while maintaining lightweight flexibility.Now, many top reviews are obsessed about sizing. Some say fit as expected, but I see a lot recommending to size down, which is never good advice, and sort of defeats the purpose of a wide toe box.My recommendation, go on Vivo's website and print off their size chart. Use that to determine your true size, and don't listen to some geeky review.Personally, I fell directly in-between sizes -- just my luck -- my right foot is bigger than my left, so I decided to size up rather than down. And it's exactly what I expected: a tad bit too big, which is better than a tad bit too small.That leads me into my next point: the shoe laces. Normally, I like to tie my shoes very tight, but with the Primus, just tight enough so the shoe is secure and that's it! The laces are about perfect out of the box, loose, but not too loose. Just tie double knot, because a single knot will come undone with these.Finally, the toe box. The Primus has the best toe box in the business. It is easy to spread my toes out for free range of motion. If you wear thick conventional socks that smash your toes together, then you might not like the NATURAL size toe box. But why would you wear conventional socks with an unconventional shoe?Many of these reviews I read that complained about sizing struck me as third rate. If you're investing in a top of the line barefoot shoe, then I'm guessing you've tried middle range barefoot shoes already, and you are looking for the next step in comfort, flexibility, and specs, this is a high level barefoot shoe that will fit your needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are barefoot. They are expensive. They are worth every penny *by E***N on October 10, 2022* I work in a construction type field. I restore marble and like type stone and tile. Toe deep in acidic and equally nasty chemicals. I used only wear vans so I could feel the “earth” below me. These are the shoes I’ve always wanted. I’ve wear them every day for 8-10 hours on stone floors and I’ve never felt so comfortable. I stand straighter and haven’t ever felt so stable.
