I followed the instructions, but had to use a hammer to release a couple of the pieces that may have been stuck due to paint. Other than that, it was pretty easy to install. Super comfortable, much softer and wider than the seat that came with the bike. With the original see, I could barely get through a 30 minute ride and definitely not ride every single day. With the seat, there is zero discomfort, no matter the length of right or the frequency.
