As someone with hair down past my waist, it has a tendency to get in the way of things. I run a used car dealership and service garage so I have to do a number of things from cleaning to working on cars to cutting grass during my work day. A traditional ponytail doesn’t always work well for those activities. Once I got these hair ties my life become so much easier! Yes, my ponytail will still fall over my shoulder if I’m leaning over the top of a vehicle, but these ties make me feel safer. I know that even if it falls over my shoulder, my hair is more contained and much less likely to get caught up in any running parts.

The pictures below are from 4 HOURS SNORKELING THE GULF!!! Most reviews I’ve seen on this are for day to day so I tested my luck and went snorkeling/ scalloping in the water. I wrapped my hair up at 7am, it’s currently 3pm. I CANT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!!! Holy crap. My hair gets so matted when I braid it and get in the ocean, this gave me 0 matting. I was able to fully brush my hair in 2 minutes with my wet brush. Some complained that it’s too long, I disagree. I feel like it provided additional support to my hair. I’m not sure how long it’ll last but 4 for $10 isn’t bad. I’m pretty active so I’m excited to continue using these 😊

Good for a bit but they are too long and the elastic wears out fast. To note, I have hair that goes to the middle of my back.

We put these in my daughter’s long hair when we go to the beach! The wrap does not stay in place so it ends up bunching on the end part of her ponytail. But I have found if I braid her hair first and then wrap it, it stays in place better. It does help with having less tangles after a full day of swimming.

These are by far the best hair ties for long hair. Soft,stretchy ,they stay put and extremely versatile.

Do not like these and neither do my kids. they bunch up at the end of the ponytail and look crazy. If you wrap them too tight they stick out. its a gimmick.

Yall steer clear from this item. I was matted up the wazoo. Took me 30 min to brush my hair out. Not even kidding. These photos look like my hair was in a braid lol. It was not. That’s just what the item did to my hair.

You do need to wrap them tighter than you’d expect at first, but once you get the hang of it—and pair them with a little leave-in conditioner—no more painful knots or tangles after a dive. I love them so much I even bought extras to give out as swag for an event. Strong hold, easy to use, and absolutely essential for anyone with longer hair in the water!

Used these multiple times for surfing and scuba diving. Definitely keeps my hair easier to manage than with traditional hair ties.
