While I can’t compare it to the brand one, this is great! A friend had it at my bachelorette party and it quickly dried water split on a shirt without burning the person wearing it. The girl who had it has short thin hair while I have long thick hair and the fact that this works for both of us is fantastic. This is easy to use, light and relatively compact compared to bring each item themselves, and it does the job to curl or just get the frizz out of your hair quickly. I love my curling iron, but this does the job even though having the two directions to make your curl go is a bit strange and clunky but it’s actually really useful to have both so you can easily frame your face perfectly. It’s worth the purchase, if you’ve read this far just buy this and you’ll be happy with it!

I wanted to point out that I've seen a few negative reviews of this air styler here on Amazon stating that the attachments don't fit correctly, but I'm 99% positive that these reviewers weren't installing them properly, all you need to do is slide the attachments into place and then ROTATE the LOCKING RING on the styler and they simply lock into place... (you don't rotate the attachments;). No doubt these reviewers DID NOT look at the simple instructions provided, lol. My daughter likes this air styler, and the way your hair automatically wraps itself around the 2 "directional" curling attachments, 2 are provided depending upon which direction you want the curl. The styler comes with enough attachments to pretty much do everything you need, and it has a high power 2 speed blower and 3 heat settings to dry your hair fast and do whatever drying and styling you like. About the only additional accessory that would be nice for safety reasons would be some sort of "cradle" to keep the hot styler from possibly burning something or someone when it's not being used during styling... Other than that it comes with all you need, even a soft zippered carrying/storage case and hard box to contain it all.

I bought this hair styler a few months ago and wanted to work with it before I left a review. After working with the styler the things I love about it, are how quickly it dries my hair without overheating my head! Honestly, I used to be in a full sweat by the time my hair was dry and am glad those days are behind me! I like the large brush for creating volume and smoothness in my hair. I don’t use the curling iron, but did try them for review’s sake and they seem to be adequate. The big negative, in my opinion, is that the cord is not on a swivel and is not long enough, so rolling hair with the attachments gets the cord tangled up and as it tangles up, it gets shorter, making it necessary to stop styling and allowing the cord to untangle. It comes with an attachment to use like a hot comb for smoothing hair, but I don’t find that attachment very helpful, I would love a flat iron attachment as I still have to get my flat iron out to hit a few places. Overall, I think it’s a good product. Much more affordable than the big competitors and I’m pleased with how shiny it makes my hair. Since I haven’t used the Shark or Dyson, I can’t compare it to them, but compared to a traditional hair dryer and styling brush, this unit wins hands down!

I was excited to get this product after seeing positive reviews online. I've tried using it a few times now and have decided to give up and return everything. None of the attachment lock in place, so you have to hold them in position while trying to operate the wand. They fall out of the base constantly and wobble the whole time you're trying to work. My hair normally holds curl really well, but all of the my curls with this device have gone limp or left my hair flat. I'm really disappointed. ********** UPDATE APRIL 2024-- The company reached out and let me know they received my feedback and wanted to resolve the issue. they sent me a replacement device and it looks like they've really made some meaningful changes based on feedback. The new device locks the attachments in place easily and it feels secure. This made a world of difference in being able to style my hair. I now have volume and body that lasts all day. It's so easy to use now. I love this tool!

I tried 4 different styling brushes and they either lacked power, felt cheap or were too expensive. This dryer is powerful at 1200 watts and a robust power cord. The drying process is fast. (Lower wattage dryers took longer to dry hair). The controls are at the top of the brush which keeps them out of the way while styling. Controlling the speed and heat are easy and the air intake is at the bottom of the brush and doesn’t suck up stray hair. The brush attachments are great for controlling frizz. The curl brushes need to be changed out for each direction which are standard. (Dyson must have the patent on their single brush that changes direction with a knob twist). The tool overall delivers a fast, quiet dryer that will give you a relaxed curl. Any tight curls or straighten hair might need a quick touch of your other iron or other hair product added. My daughter loved the straighter tool with Dyson but the high $$$ price tag didn’t make it worth keeping. Our hair feels soft and not over heated. We also benefited from a $30 coupon. Great packaging presentation for gift giving. The zip up bag will help to keep the tools handy. Overall a great product in the multi tool hair drying arena.

The hair dryer is ok. I noticed I need to let my hair air dry about 60% before I use the roller brush or the flat brush or else it won't give my desired style. I have to let my hair air dry about 80% if I want to use the curls. I don't like that the cord doesn't swivel. The cord wraps and twists itself while I dry my hair and it significantly shortens the length. I have to then untwist it multiple times and that doubles the time it takes to finish my hair. It heats up quick and cools off quick. The attachments are easy to pop on and off.

I’m giving this product 2 stars because I’ve had it since September 2023, and have used it regularly in the last 6 months. I love how easy it is to change the attachments out, I love where the buttons are to turn it on and adjust the heat and air flow. I love the attachments. However, after 6 months, the motor has died out on me. When using it, it started making a weird noise, stopped blowing hot air (but was still blowing air) and it started smelling like it was burning from the inside. I’m incredibly disappointed as I have loved this product since I got it and even recommended it to others who have purchased it and like it. So even though I won’t be using it anymore and probably won’t repurchase, 2 stars for the time I have enjoyed using it.

Have been using it frequently for about 5 months now. My ONLY gripe is that the cord doesn't swivel. I use the round brush most often, which requires turning the handle. The cord gets horribly twisted after one session. Even my 1990's curling irons have this feature... I don't own and have never tried the Dyson version of this thing, so I can't compare directly, but this works wonders on my hair. I love the interchangeable aspect. I am much more likely to curl my hair since I don't really have to get out another tool. I don't really get the point of the flat brush, but I'm a curly/frizzy girl. Maybe it works great for straight haired folks.
