Very solid "braces" for the money. That said they are basic construction, meaning the edges of th straps and inside is still basically untreated leather. Since I make custom knives and leatherwork I simply used Neatsfoot oil on the "raw" sides and edges to treat them and soften the leather a bit. You can also used Tokonole edge dressing (Amazon) and a burnishing tool to do a nice treatment and finish on the same parts. They will hold up well.

I was slightly concerned that these would be to small, that is short, for me because I'm 6' 5" tall and 217 lbs. But I really liked the style, features and and craftsmanship in the pictures. No worries - Ive been wearing them on both Levis 505's and my Riggs, all 38 x 44's since they arrived a week ago. Received a few complements on how well they work and I don't have to keep hiking up my britches any more.

Leather is way too hard and stiff

If you are tired of your suspenders always coming unhooked then, THESE are the ones for you! I actually saw a male customer at my bank that was wearing these and they looked so well made and, because of them having the hooks on the ends of them which you attach to your belt loops, you NEVER have to worry about them coming unhooked! I bought them for my hubby and he absolutely loves them! The straps, which are made of leather, are completely adjustable and stay in place no matter what.

I purchased for outside work. I wanted a pair of good leather suspenders that will last and wear well over time. I've hit it. Clips are substantial but easy to get on/off. The leather is stiff in the way new, full grain leather should be. The fit and comfort are spot on. After a few weeks, they're breaking in nicely. I'm anxious to get more sweat and dirt and scrapes on them so they lose that new look and take on that worn-in patina that develops on good leather. For those that want them for casual dress, they certainly fill that bill as well. Just don't think they're going to be a quiet accent; these are a statement.

Bestellt und war Ratz Fatz hier bei mir. Diese Hosenträger aus fettem echten Leder sind der Wahnsinn. Ich habe lange nach so einer Qualität gesucht ( ich wurde mal fündig beim DMAX Shop ) aber knapp 250 € waren mir dann doch viel zu viel. Hier bekommt man wirklich hervorragende Hosenträger die keine Wünsch offen lassen. Die gesamte Verarbeitung ist absolut Top. und sie tragen sich auch ganz wunderbar ohne zu drücken oder zu scheuern. Wer Qualitativ Top Hosenträger sucht und auf Leder steht, der sollte hier auf jeden Fall zuschlagen, ich habe bis jetzt noch nichts Besseres für so einen Preis gefunden. Von meiner Seite her für das Gesamtpaket meine absolute Kaufempfehlung und volle 5 Sterne.

The finish is not what you would probably get for £150 or so but I would say that I can see these will probably last for years ! Very pleased with them !!
