I bought this to mix into my cactus and succulent soil, and it’s exactly what I needed. The rocks are lightweight, porous, and provide great drainage without compacting the soil. I also use them as a top dressing — they look clean and really make the plants stand out. There was a bit of dust when it arrived, but a quick rinse took care of that. Overall, great value and quality. I’d definitely buy again!

I was really hoping these rock would float in water like pumice is supposed to but they didn’t. They sank right to the bottom. The rocks are beautiful otherwise, and I can use them for other things in my science classroom.

As advertised, consistently sized, need to rinse to remove fine particulate . Succulents look nicer with this lava rock.

This is what I use as pon for my Alocasias. It's great! Its the perfect size. It's easy to rinse, easy to use in my pots, and my plants seem to love it! It's a great value and much cheaper than name brand option, but just as good! My plants are thriving and growing well since changing over to this mix. This is great stuff!

Only reason I gave it 3 stars was cuz it would work as top dressing. I’d gotten it to start Aroid cuttings and it’s way too big. Very dusty. Not as pics show.
