I don’t usually write reviews - however I’m very pleased with this product, and how simple the installation was I had my wires wrapped around the binding posts for months, and that was fine until I wanted to move the amplifier - not a chance! So when I recently installed surround speakers I decided to get the plugs so that all of my inputs were removable The sound is neither better nor worse (I suppose that’s the idea) and whilst it took me a while to install them, that’s because I had to chop off the twisted ends from the binding posts and bare new clean wire. The grip on the wire is great, and the strain reliever is an added bonus. If I had to pick faults: There is a gap around the edge of the plus where the cable exits, it doesn’t look particularly professional. I suppose one could stick a screwdriver or similar up the end and possibly damage the connection - not sure how that would happen though! The part of the plug screw-on cover which dictates the +/- colour is only a small line of branding text. I like the uniform colours so they don’t look like cheap red/white phono inputs, but it may be difficult to spot when the cables aren’t plugged in. I bought the 12 pairs pack, only needed 7, but they’re probably going to be used on other aspects of my AV set up. Great value either way

Bought these to fix a problem with speaker cables. So far working fine - they have 2 screws to secure cable and the cover unscrews. Reasonable quality at a good price.

So I have had a few banana plugs over the years, I have to say that these are one of the better ones I have bought and are probably the best ones out there. Pro’s - Ease of use. - They hold your wire in firmly, two screws secure the wire tightly. - Great size not too big or too small. - They are built to last, I have no doubt there will last for years. - Excellent performance. - They look good, even though not many people will see them. - They are very tight pushing them into the amp.(Marantz ST7015), so not worried about they coming lose. Cons - None really, great value It is very true that you get what you pay for, these maybe more expensive that other banns plugs but they are worth the money.

I have to admit that I did not expect this level of material quality, robustness of construction and appearance. The plugs look nice, they are not big, have two tightening screws each, the conductive part is made in one piece and the tips do not rotate like some cheap plugs. They really look nice and well made. The only tiny remark is that the tips come a little bit spread and it is a little bit difficult to plug them into the socket the first time. But after only one insertion, the tips adjust and they go easely. They hold tight enough, just right, not too loose, not too tight. Given that the outer cover is metal, I will put some heat shrink tubing on them as an insulator just in case something goes wrong behind the amplifier/speaker. Extremely satisfied, especially considering the price. And the delivery was superfast.
