I ordered this to use as a makeup storage box and Im really glad I did so. Finally, all my makeup is tidy and easily located. The box is sturdy and you can move the dividers to suit your needs. This box was so much cheaper than the boxes which are sold as makeup storage boxes and it does the job just as well. Also, it looks like it will be easy to wipe clean. I was so pleased with the result I just had to take a photo and share. Highly recommended!

I really liked the look of this when it arrived. It seemed really sturdy and I couldn’t wait to organise all my sewing stuff. In practice, sadly, it is not fit for purpose as a sewing box. I started filling the trays and then closed the box, with difficulty. It jammed shut with my stuff inside and broke when I tried to force it open, sending pins flying everywhere! I eventually worked out that this is because full reels of thread (lying down) are too big for the trays and prevent the open/close mechanism from working properly. Besides that, when the trays are filled the box topples over and everything falls out (again). Full-size dressmaking scissors don’t fit in any of the trays (unless you take out all the dividers on the 2nd or 3rd shelf). All highly annoying and disappointing.

Really useful box, much better quality that the ARTBIN i also purchased. Wish Id got this one first.

Sturdy box for my art equipment. Having removable dividers on 2 of the 3 trays is very useful to enable brushes and pencils to be stored neatly leaving the Base free for pallet and miscellaneous things. Perfect for my purpose.

I found this too top heavy when opened out and i'm afraid I retuned it.

Great box. Bought for kids tiny kinder egg/ party bag type toys. Perfect for storing all those little treasures ie characters, bouncy balls, shopkins etc.

Just as described and does exactly what I needed: great sewing box.

Bought to replace my wife's sewing box. Does the job well, but not perfect as the shelves are just too shallow to take cotton reels. Took note of other comments about stability which are quite correct, so, if box is opened fully there is no problem.
