Rhythm Clocks "Joyful Crystal Pearl Musical Mantel Clock

This clock is so enjoyable. My family enjoys this clock so much that we sent one to our minister. He just loves it! This clock not only plays hymn's on the hour, but plays Christmas music with a flip of a switch during the Holiday Season. Our clock will always be cherished. Because of its originality, it is absolutely no bother replacing the batteries (2 - Cs) when necessary. I usually change the batteries in June of each year. But still overall, the clock and music is beautiful! The brown frame and gold detail just adds to its beauty. Lastly, the clock is durable (we've had ours for years and the sound quality is still superb. ONE NOTE: The clock has to be placed in a well lit room. The music is activated by light. IThe music will not play in a dark room - hence with the curtains closed.

Beautiful. Keeps time well and the chime volume is adjustable. I like that chimes have Christmas chimes that you can change to during the Holiday Season. Exactly what I wanted in my home.

This is such a gorgeous clock! I just got it, it's bigger than I expected, well made, just wonderful. I put the four batteries in the bottom, which started the movement, but not the pendulum. I listened to the test song, the music is clear and rich. My only problem with this is I can't figure out how to insert the the other batteries and get the pendulum to work! The instructions are translated from another language and are pretty vague, and there is no illustration to show how to get in the clock to insert the last two batteries, change the volume, or switch the songs. One other thing, it says that there are only FOUR Christmas songs, not six as stated online. Im editing this review now, as I discovered how to get in the clock. I thought the screw in the top back of the clock was to operate the clock hands, but when I started to turn it, I relalized it was to open the back of the clock. Once you get in there, it's very easy. I love this clock! It's rare for me to splurge like this, but I had some gift money and I can tell already that this is really going to brighten my life. 😊

I'd heard a sampling of this clock at Simply Mantel, and I'm glad I did (Amazon should consider having this with any chime or musical clock). The only reviewer here didn't like this clock, but I love it! I ordered it for my 89-year-old Mom, and I know she's going to like it. Push it to A mode and it plays hymns. Push it to B and it plays Christmas songs. There's a volume control so that you can set it very low at night if you wish, but I also found out, when trying to make sure it would play on the hour, that the light has to be pretty good for it to play music (it has a light sensor and won't play when it's dark). It's keeping time well too, checked against the TV time. It's true what the other reviewer said, that it's plastic and quite light, but it's still a very nice looking clock IMO, and looks just like the picture. My mother's eyes are dim and this won't be an issue, though the price is pretty high considering that. But I really think the songs are beautiful and much nicer sounding than other chimes/bells I sampled. BTW, I ordered it on Dec 16th and it arrived today, Dec 19th. Can't beat that.

I bought this in April 2025. It only plays the music when it wants to. And now after a few months, when it DOES play, it plays just about 5 notes per song. I feel that I wasted my money. It's a pretty mantle clock, BUT I bought it more for the music. When it did play and played the whole song, it's beautiful. I feel I made a bad investment.

So I just received my new inexpensive clock. Yes the encasement is plastic but seriously it’s a really cool clock for the mantel or shelve. Perfect size and the white looks awesome. I especially like the pendulum. Looks expensive as long as no one touches. =) I am pleasantly surprised. Cross your fingers it keeps time well. But for now- I am very pleased.

My 20-year-old anniversary clock was having some issues but finally stopped working last week. I missed it so much. I ordered this Rhythm Clock (Joyful Crystal Bells) as a gift for myself. I have only had it for a couple of days. It is wonderful! I have the perfect place for it, on top of the entertainment center, turned slightly to face the window. I wanted to make sure it received enough light to work during the day. There are 2 sets of songs, Hymns and Christmas Songs. The Hymns are great. After Thanksgiving, I will change it to the Christmas Carols. Yes, it is plastic, but the music sounds good (not tinny). I would not have been able to afford a clock made of wood and glass. I am so thankful for this clock. Thank you Rhythm and Amazon!

Unfortunately my unit shipped with a broken battery door and the seller will not respond. Product quality is debatable.
