XPLORA X6 Play Kids Watch Phone 4G - GPS, SOS, Calls and Messages

This is such a genius idea!!! so safe and reliable!!! I love knowing our daughter can have a watch that won’t fall off that she can keep with her and reach out to us anytime with any emergency! This watch is fantastic. It has so many cool features to get your kids off the couch, and I have some fun. You can control who they call and who they connect to. It is fantastic. As a mom of 8 I honed think this is such a perfect idea. We tested it out a few times when she went on her field trip. She was able to text us and give us updates throughout the whole experience. She even took photos with her watch. This is a must have for any parent!!! Phones get lost you have to put them down they get in trouble they’re not allowed to have them. The teachers did not even mind her having this watch at all. They thought it was a great idea.

UPDATE-- I take back what I said about this watch. There are WAYYYY too many bugs to sort out. The first watch went through a period of 'No SIM' and bad functionality, which resulted in my getting another through warranty. Now the battery can't hold a charge and the tracking function works when it feels like working. Also, I send messages and my kid doesn't receive them, the school mode doesn't turn off when it's supposed to which means at times, the emergency button needs to be used to get in contact with me. It was nice while it lasted, but I'm tired of fighting. We had this not even two years. My kid is not ready for a traditional phone yet, so this is good in regards to learning more about responsibility. Pro: You can contact them. The watch and app are made so it is completely parent controlled. Con: The tracking works, but there are bugs to work out. Live tracking so far does not really work. I gave it a try as my kid rode home on the bus from school. It did not update.

Great way to be in touch with your kid. I got this because to be less concerned about where my daughter is and in case I need to talk to her. It is “closed” to message and call only the people I added in the app. The notifications I get on my phone are very useful. I also have access to her location and even set a safety zone where I get notifications when she in or out of that zone. Everything is working smooth and for now I am very happy with my decision to buy one. Setting up is where I would say that I had somewhat of a set back because when I was doing the first configuration I put my phone number instead of the number that was created for the watch. You just have to be a little patient because it might take about 20 min for the text to come with the number you will get for the watch. Otherwise it was fairly simple to set up.

If I could give this product zero stars I would. The reviews are correct, customer service never gets back to you. I used this product when we were in Germany, the watches worked great. When we moved back to the US, I purchased new watches for use in the US. Based on the area we live in, I checked the cell coverage map they provided and everything seemed fine so I purchased the watch and the cell service coverage plan. The watches never worked, and customer service still has not replied to my email or returned my call, its been weeks. Trust me....do not buy this product.

Watch was horrible. Don't think it was a seller's fault cuz I think they're third party but the company in regards to getting it fixed because it came with no SIM card was horrific end up sending the watch back again. Don't think it's seller's fault. They were really awesome and returned it. No problem but I highly recommend staying away from the company meaning the explora 6 is horrible service customer service battle with them for about a month end up sending me another watch and it was crap. Sent it back and went with Verizon

I got it for my 5yr old. She loves it. She can call her grandparents anytime. She uses the alarms to stay on schedule. The tracking/gps feature gives us peace of mind know exactly where she is. If she has an emergency she can easily contact 911. The phone plans are affordable and the watch has a great battery life. The only draw back is texting is limited and the receiver has the have the app. Also, School mode block all calls and text instead of just being on silent. I still am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Worked great. But dont be fooled. When activating it clearly says month by month payment plan. Then when you try to cancel. They will lie and say you are in a 2 year contract. Dont be scammed. Product worked okay. Needed to be reset every night to keep gps working. If you dont want this service for 2 years at the least. Dont buy it. Buyer beware!!! Mine is in the trash. Broke after less then a year. Display stopped working. Cant wait for their fake reply to this message claiming to help. But they wont cancel contract i did t sign up for.

We’ve really been enjoying our Xplora watch I got for my son! It has many great features and one of my favorite features is that I get a notification on MY phone in the app if my son is on a call or gets a text. I really like that it tells me the phone number contacting him as well. It’s fairly easy to set up and use. My son is younger and his favorite part about it is the step counter and that he can call me and send selfies. I think the size is perfect for a smaller child to older as I tried it on myself the first few days to test it out.

I bought an X6 Xplora watch for my son (who is age 10) and couldn’t be happier with this purchase. So happy that I was thinking of swapping my watch with his. What I love about the watch is, it has so many great features, for example, calling, chat/voice messages so they don’t need a phone. It has a school mode feature too, so he wears it to school now but won’t disturb him while he’s in class. It also has SOS button and that gives me a sense of peace especially when walking alone to and from school. He loves the watch and all the fun features, I think he’s favourite would be the step counter and built in camera. It was really easy to set up. Love it!!

Después de un año de uso, puedo afirmar que el reloj funciona perfectamente, la ubicación es precisa, el funcionamiento general es correcto, la batería suele durar un día y medio, por lo tanto para que aguante todo el día hay que cargarlo todas las noches. La única pega que yo personalmente le puedo poner, es que no tenga opción de encendido remoto. Por lo demás, es un reloj que te permite saber dónde está tú hijo en el momento, poder hablar con el tanto telefónicamente como a través de la app de Xplora, y eso es lo que nosotros buscamos. Nos da igual el tema de las monedas que puede conseguir andando (en la app de Xplora hay opciones), nos da igual si se pueden cambiar los fondos de pantalla o no (que si, se puede personalizar) Lo que buscábamos era muy básico y con este reloj lo hemos conseguido, que esté localizado, que se pueda comunicar y que no tenga acceso a redes sociales, internet en general, y demás cosas innecesarias para un niño.

Ma fille l’adore, elle peut changer la couleur des accessoires pour l’assortir à ses tenues. Fiable, facile d’utilisation, solide et très rassurant de pouvoir localiser son enfant quand il doit rentrer seul. Le mode « école » est super pratique. Par contre il n’y a pas de jeu, c’est tant mieux, la batterie tiens du coup vraiment longtemps ! (Environ 3 jours)

So the watch did not work. I contacted Xplora customer service. They replied within 30 minutes after which they asked me to video the issue and provide some info. I did and They replied quickly, again, to indicate they will send me a replacement watch within 10 business days. I sent the request January 8th. Just received the watch and we are Jan 22nd. All good except they sent it through Shopify which made me pay $23 in tax and handling fees. So be aware. Did not need to complain to the company. They acted as soon as I posted the comment here and offered to issue a refund. As for the watch, it is worth every penny. ONE MORE THING : All you need is a basic phone sim card. I shopped all over the place and no phone company seemed to think their sim card will work on the phone. In the end, we thought to use my husband's Freedom sim card.. and it works perfectly. My son loves it. Full mark for the product and the customer service.
