This ankle support is very effective at supporting the Achilles tendon. It feels soothing to my ankle. Very comfortable. Fit is tight but still comfortable. The only drawback is that it is hard to take off, due to the tight fit. It has to fit this tight to be effective at supporting the ankle. I have ordered many Baurfeind products and the quality and effectiveness are always great.

Nothing more than a piece of junk. A $130.00 sock with no toes. You are better off wrapping your ankle with a ace bandage. Did nothing to help my achilles pain. Really don't waste your money. Go to a physical therapist it's a better use of the money.

I have some nasty injuries from my time in the military and one of which is multiple small tears in both of my Achilles that causes it to flare up constantly and lasting nearly 3-5 days and up to 2 months on rare occasions. It literally dislocates or badly strains the Navicular bone in one or both of my feet causing extruciating pain to such an extent I literally can't walk without risking a hard fall. This literally relieved the pressure in such a way I'm no longer crawling like a maggot on the floor but can actually walk again to some extent without downing a dozen 200mg's of Ibuprofen a day. I intend to get a 2nd if not third in case one breaks down but this has honestly been such a godsend I wish I found it a decade ago.

its a 100% soft 'sleeve' I'd call it and NOT a brace, thus it doesnt give much support. It has a soft pad covering the achillies that attempts to shield it from the back of the shoe. Other than that its a very expensive thick sock. My initial concern when i received it (outside of it clearly not being worth close to what they charge) was how well it would hold up and sure enough, not even 2 weeks into wearing it the threads are starting to pull/fray

The product works great. One thing I don't love about it is the heel lift which I don't use because a) it makes my foot come out of the sneaker too much and 2) because it sets the foot forward which I find a bit difficult to get comfortable with on the pickleball court. Lastly, the price is about 7 times the price of other competitor products. I bought it anyway because my DR. recommended it. But it does relieve discomfort without a doubt.

Worth the money. Fits snug, is supposed to. Helps pain from microtears immediately.

I have purchased several different makes to help with my Achilles injury. This brace was the only one that truly helped. Highly recommend this brace. Would buy again

Sadly, this is just a sock with padding. If you are hoping to restrict the movement of your Achilles tendon, this will not do that. You have total movement. I can not see how this would help heal, reduce swelling, or relieve pain in the tendon at all. It will just give you a cushion or padding...if that is what you're looking for, then it will work for you.

Excellent product. I had an achilles tear and have been using for rehab and support. Sizing is correct.
