I think the Ivory panels are the prettiest due to the fact that after they are hung on a rod, they actually appear to be a soft buttery yellow (think the color of French Vanilla Ice Cream!) The subtle leaf pattern in them reminds me of the William Morris pattern called Willow Leaf. They all drape beautifully and there were only a few loose threads here and there but we just snipped them off as they were just left over stitch threads. I did not realize that this valance had a little bit of a leaf/vine design on it...it is very hard to see that in the picture and I apparently did not read the entire description. I was a bit dismayed when it arrived since I really just wanted a plain navy blue. I hung it up and realized that the design is so subtle that it does not clash with the rest of the dΓ©cor and gives a rather plain valance a little bit of jazz so I ended up being very pleased with the end result. The fabric is light and easy to iron but doesn't look cheap. It's a bit longer than your typical valance but since my window is narrow and long, it hangs just perfectly.
