Klean-Strip Quart Easy Liquid Sander Deglosser

I had a painted side table that was the wrong color so I wanted to paint it. I did zero sanding. I simply painted the “liquid sandpaper” over the entire surface. After waiting for it to dry, I painted over it. The paint adhered perfectly. The job required two coats but now the table looks great.

I cannot believe I painted my entire kitchen cabinets with this stuff. I didn’t even know about it until my sister mentioned it because she used it before talking about a difference. I didn’t have to sand everything and the paint‘s been on their year and it looks perfect. I hope you have good luck with yours like I did. Also, I had oil base paint on the cabinets . I use this stuff and painted right over.

I used this product over a very glossy textured ceiling. As another reviewer did, I rolled on the product over the entire ceiling. The only problem I had was in spots where there was too much product, it would bubble up and peel off. I used some steel wool to scratch off all the problem areas. This stuff seems to add a layer of chalky matte finish over the glossy paint rather than actually degloss the finish. With that said, the kills primer does seem to be well adhered, will post update if it peels at all.

This is so much than sanding and having that grit all over . Make this your new to Go and work with.

I did a ton of research before attempting to paint my kitchen cabinets. They are a lot of good reviews and videos on using this instead of sanding but I did not see any change at all. I did as directions stated then tried letting set then tried using a scrub pad and still there was no change. This being my first attempt at painting cabinets I am afraid to not sand, I cannot afford to mess up and not like the outcome. So for me this wasn’t the way to go.

I had never heard of this product and was struggling with painting all the trim in my house. It was taking forever to clean, prep and sand and even then the paint wouldn't adhere very well. I couldn't seem to get rid of the gloss. After finding this it's so much quicker and the paint sticks. I did use two coats of the liquid sandpaper. Another thing is that has no odor, like some stippers

It doesn’t do anything it says it does. It doesn’t work at all.

Worked so well for bathroom remodeling project. And will be using again here soon in the kitchen. It's easy to use and does what it says. Paint stuck in one coat and had held up extremely well in high use cabinets (kids bathroom) and guest bathroom.

Je suis très déçue du produit! Ne fait pas ce qu'il est supposé faire! J'ai utilisé ce produit en suivant les instructions et a ma grande surprise le vernis est toujours là! Donc je ne recommanderai pas ce produit a personne ! Malheureusement il n'est pas recommandable selon mon expérience et je devrais finalement utiliser le bon papier sablé!
