Room Divider Curtain Rod, No Drilling Tension Rod for Room Separation Black

I bought this Bonpally Room Divider Curtain Rod for my nephew and he loved it. Installation was incredibly simple thanks to the tension rod design — no screws needed, and it went up quickly and easily. The rod stays firmly in place and held up well even with a few heavy curtains hanging on it. We've been using it for a couple of months now with absolutely no issues. It's sturdy, reliable, and a great no-hassle solution for room dividing. Highly recommend!

I purchased this because I wanted to hang curtains over windows where the binds are not flush with the window's edge (they stick out). Because I live in an apartment, I really did not want to put holes in the wall just to hang curtains and the blinds wouldn't allow me to use command hooks with a rod. So, when I found this item, I hoped that it would be the answer, and it is. One important thing to note - if you have popcorn ceilings, you have to be careful when you are setting up the tension rods. Otherwise, you will have lots of popcorn ceiling flakes to clean up. Installation was not difficult. You have to decide based on your strength if you are going to put the tension spring at the top of the rod or the bottom. I placed it at the top because it was easier for me to pull down a little part of the rod instead of having to push down the entire rod to set it. Honestly, I think that if I had placed the spring at the bottom, I would have had much more popcorn flakes because the rod would have dragged against the ceiling. The adjustable height is great and easy enough to measure. Bear in mind that the fully assembled rods are 8 feet tall, so you need room to swing the rod up to the ceiling and then depress it so the rod doesn't scrape the ceiling. Again, only an issue for popcorn ceilings. My second piece of advice is to assemble two rods at 3/4 height and assemble two separate short pieces with the hooks. Make sure that the hooks are even before you attach the short pieces to their respective pole. My third piece of advice is to slide the hook over the narrow end of the pole instead of trying to open it so it fits over the wider end of the pole. I found the poles to be very sturdy even though they are fairly light weight. They definitely can hold heavier curtains, which is a big plus. *** This part is specifically for the 3 tension rod solution. I purchased one of those as well because I had to cover 3 adjacent windows. When you look at the pictures, you will see that they are set at a right angle. You certainly can do that. I wanted them in a straight line. In the pictures, you will see that the cross rods are not in a straight line. For me, that was not an option. I made one straight line across the 3 windows and it works perfectly. Originally I was concerned that the length may require a reinforced rod, but it turns out that it was not needed at all. There is no sagging or any issues with the curtains being too heavy for the setup. For anyone who is wondering what I was going to use for reinforcement, I would have purchased thick PVC pipe that I could slide inside the rod. If that didn't work, I have some rods that I decided not to install and they would have fit inside the rod. I am very pleased with this solution.

Great fix for hiding necessary storage in the spare room. This was a little cumbersome to get placed just right, but putting together was pretty straight forward.

Worked perfect for creating a divider in our living room/kitchen in our RV. The length almost didn’t make it but holding 2 81 in curtains up and spanned the entire length out it’s held up! Both ends are wide so doesn’t cause any pressure dents or damaged to wall or floor!

Amazing product and easy to install. Very affordable way to create a room divider. I was able to create 3 poles for floor to ceiling for a 10 foot high ceiling and 11 foot rod.

I have THREE of these curtains rod systems in my apartment. They are wonderful! Each one divides large rooms up in a specific way to allow for more privacy, better room purpose, and contributes to a better layout of the apartment. Curtains make the space look elegant and blends in naturally with the room. Easy to assemble- one simple screw and that’s it. Comes with clear instructions and extra pieces. Height is adjustable and weighs very little. Materials are of great quality. Really this is a solution for anyone who doesn’t want a pressure wall or doesn’t want to renovate. Highly recommend. Excellent product!

These are super easy to assemble and can be setup in many different ways. Whether using them as room divides, privacy walls, or to create blackout spaces… these are perfect. Would be better if the top rods were springed telescoping poles rather than being separate pieces, but I’m very pleased overall. I have a large open concept studio and created two separate bedroom spaces with these so I can give guests a bit of privacy.

This was advertised to be 'tension' set, but there's not tension. Poles look like one piece in the photo, but consist of many pieces. Total junk. Save yourself the headache. Would have put zero stars if possible.
