Teenage Grand daughter Loved It!
This was a Christmas gift requested by my 13 yr old grand daughter. She said she loved the book and has read it twice now. I don’t know anything else about the book.

The perfect companion to the League of Legends Arcane series.
The book is a decent standalone, but it pairs extremely well with the show. Also it's even better if you actually play League. Overall it was an entertaining read. Personally I preferred the other League of Legends novel better. But if you are obsessed with Arcane then you'll probably love this book. It explains a lot of why things are the way they are in the show. At least in regards to the Medarda family and Noxus.

Fan of Arcane? This is a great companion!
This book absolutely delivered on my want to know more about Ambessa - beautifully written to give her even more depth and complexity. Praying that there's a sequel, this was SO well done!

Per the title is more about Ambessa than Mel
It was missing the outer cover and was covered in a dried sticky substance but none was on the pages

So so so so good!
C.L. Clark did a great job! I learned about this book from WILLA over on the clock app and IMMEDIATELY ordered it because I high key loved the Arcane series and had run out of fan reviews and analysis content. My my my, Clark did her big one with bringing the characters to life, weaving in golden nuggets from the series and gamelore into this book. You get to see the roots (and eventual ruin) of Ambessa. The Medardas are a mess…Clark really lays out their world, culture, beliefs and alliances. As busy as I was last week and this week, I churned through this page turner at a delightful speed. This book really fills out the Medarda parts of the Arcane series universe. It also sets up the beef between Ambessa and the Black Rose. So many good secondary characters are brought in and it only gets me more ready for the next season of Arcane. Now we need a pre-mage Mel novel before the next season drops!!!

Content media is absolutely amazing, but do look careful with receiving delivery
Fascinating, mysterious and thumping literature that echoes the past of one of the best and strong characters of Arcane, which was introduced only in the show but got so much recognised that it got its own character in the game and a prequel novel about its own lore. Absolutely commendable, C. L. Clark has really (and once again) woven the story with extreme meticulousness. Props to the team behind this and other media! However I would suggest checking the condition of the delivered product on receiving it. Otherwise/nonetheless, it is one of the best master piece!
