Very dark
This is an amazing product, however I found it looked best after sanding it more than the recommended grit. I first sanded my hickory slabs from 80g to 320g, applied one coat. After 12 hours I sanded it with 600g and applied a second coat and wow what a finish. It soaks into the wood and hardens it from the inside out. Subsequent coats only take very little so go easy on the amount you mix. I went with 3 coats. Also, just vacuum after sanding. If you blow it with air, it will blow the white dust residue out of the grain. That dust actually turns clear upon application of the product and will fill in small cracks and grain marks, making it look smoother. Walnut is very dark, but you can mix it with clear to lighten it up.

A+ finish
Just as good as the more expensive, better known hardwax oil. Wish they had more color options but what they have looks amazing.

It’s OK. Nothing to write home about.
This was ok -compared to Rubio one coat, which is why I bought it. If you like Rubio one coat stick with that. This is not that or a suitable replacement. On its own, I found it impossible to mix a smaller portion, so it’s best to use all of it at once. It also had a long drying time but the color was good. You’d get the same with any hardware store stain and top coat.

A lovely finish for wood projects
I used this on a refurbishment of a coffee table, and after applying and wiping off after letting it dry for 30 minutes, it left a beautiful finish; streak free, lovely color and so far the finish is proving to be very durable. I used the Walnut color version.

Not walnut colored at all
Customer service was great and sent a replacement that I have yet to try but the original stain was almost red in color and not at all close to a walnut color.

Nice stuff!!
Very happy with application, finish and so far the durability.

Coverage is misleading
Very disappointed with the coverage. I needed to stain about 64 ft² (both sides of birch plywood), but this product only covered one side (~32 ft²) and even then I had to stretch it to reach the edges without achieving full, even coverage. The advertised coverage of 85 ft² for the small bottle feels misleading. If it had performed closer to that range, I would’ve had enough. Now I’m stuck buying an additional container just to complete the project and match the color, which ends up costing me more.

Very nice colour and easy to work with
I like it. Used it on Birch Plywood and it turned out beautifully. Took a few days to properly cure, but once cured, it is amazing.

Finishing the wood
Good product but if you use it on ash make sure you don’t skip any sanding grits to finish. It shows every imperfection.maybe some wood conditioner would help.
