Right I want to start off with my glove was not soft at all. Followed by yes it's rough so you don't need to apply a lot of pressure if you do you'll hurt yourself and yes this glove is thin but not overly so it does not need to be thick to do a good job. With that said a few years back I bought a branded baiden mitten it cost over £45+ while it worked well and I did not need to use is more then once or twice a month thus got a few years use out of it there would come a day I would need a new one and would I really want to pay that amount money for a new one of those branded mittens the answer was no! so a few months back my husband had a clean up of the bathroom and he either threw that one away or put it in a box some place last month I decided I needed a new one and I found this the Kessa Exfoliating glove for under £8 it was worth a try as it look to be made of similar material. I was not disappointed not only does this works as good if not better then that pricey branded one its roughly 80-85% less in price which is fantastic! I used this glove in the same way I used the other pricey branded one on damp skin with soft long strokes after a few mins I had my dead skin coming of in little ball like pieces in the same way as the pricey branded on did while this was a little rougher then the pricey one it took me less time to exfoliate where as the pricey one was softer and took ages. I would by this again in fact I plan on buying a few double packs and including these in my own bath and body gift baskets for friends and family. These are great and for the price they are well worth it!

So I've only just started to exfoliate and after watching tik toks and people saying a Kessa glove is the way to go, I purchased this. The first few uses maybe only a spec or 2 of dead skin came off. I used it after soaking in hot water and just used it with water, another time I used it with a body scrub product but still no dead skin visibly came off. I will say my skin still felt softer after these uses. I was resigning myself to the fact that I just wasn't someone who would see dead skin after exfoliating until I purchased some Moroccan black soap (this was my last hope) and alas! I used this glove after I washed off the Moroccan black soap, I felt the friction the soap had caused, started using this Kessa glove and then there it was, visible dead skin. Not as much as maybe a normal person but finally it happened!

I was a bit skeptical when I first received this kessa glove because it felt quite light and a little flimsy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. After just one use, it proved to be very effective and left my skin feeling noticeably smoother. So far, I’m impressed and looking forward to using it again!

I thought this glove was going to be one that you rub the dead skin cells off so they peel off into visible bits but it doesnt do that, its just like any other exfoliating glove with a rough textured material. It's nothing special and could be simply substituted with your regular exfoliating scrub or one of those cheap exfoliating gloves from TK max. It still exfoliates but isn't anything new.

My husband has psoriasis over 70% of his body and has tried many exfoliating mitts over the years with varying degrees of dissatisfaction. However, this little beauty, that I put in his Christmas stocking, sloughed off all the annoying bits of dead skin (that comes off on the sheets at night and create a dust storm over every surface) without a great deal of effort from him & without making him bleed. We are so impressed that I’m getting him another couple and 2 for me

Was expecting exceptional quality at this price. Have used similar ones which are a fraction of the price, do the same thing and don't start falling apart after a few uses! Disappointed, as the elastic band has begun unravelling after just a few uses.
