Easy to Fly, Durable, and Tons of Fun
This RC F-16 has been a huge hit in our house. My son absolutely loves it, and I was impressed with how easy it was to get flying right out of the box. Setup was straightforward, and the gyro stabilization really helps keep things smooth and controlled — especially for beginners. The batteries charged quickly and lasted longer than I expected, which meant more actual flight time and less waiting around. We were flying from a hay field with pretty tall grass, so we used the hand-throw takeoff method — and it worked perfectly. It launched easily and climbed smoothly. What surprised me most was how well it handles light wind. It cuts through a breeze confidently and maneuvers with precision. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel fragile. In fact, during the learning phase, we had a few nose-first crashes (part of the process!), and it handled them without any visible damage. On top of all that, it just looks cool in the air. The scale fighter jet design makes it even more fun to fly. Pros: Beginner-friendly and easy to control Quick charging with solid flight time Durable EPP foam construction Handles light wind well Two takeoff options (great for grass fields) Great value for the performance Overall, this has been a fantastic outdoor activity and a great introduction to RC flying. Highly recommend for kids (and adults) looking for something fun and surprisingly capable.

Spitfire is a great first plane
I purchased the 3 channel spitfire. Flies great, is durable. Have to be careful to try and kill the engines before crashing. A fully charged battery will spin them fast enough to shear the propeller blades if spinning at speed when they hit something. Crashed into a tree and poked it out with a pole, crashed into the ground several times. Still flies great first plane for the price. A lot of these poor reviews seem like genuine user error and mishandling. Plane flies pretty good up to 15mph winds slightly more it flies in place and really needs the gyro for stability.

Started Good, Now Won't Fly
Initially, this plane flew very good. The beginner and intermediate control settings were great and allowed for stable flight for new to RC plan flyers. Shortly after purchasing, my plane started prematurely banking right and crashing. Nothing seems to be working to get it to fly correctly. Attempts to contact the company went nowhere...they like to say that I don't know how to fly it. I've sent them explanations and videos, and the best I have gotten so far is, make sure you are using the controls correctly. Luckily, I know how to fly RC planes. Overall, its okay, but if you have an issue, GOOD LUCK getting help. I have a feeling I have spend $$$ on a now busted up plane that I had to risk to get videos and pictures and testing to prove that I know how to fly...and I have received nothing in return. Buyer beware.

Surprising
This thing surprised me! Looks like junk in the photos. Something that would last until it's first landing. However, I do stand corrected. My grandson has been using his daily for a few weeks now. He loves it.

Sky high Fun
Very unique, my boy loves this plane, we have use it a few times and seems like it will last long, decent priced and fun ! I was honestly impressed with this remote control plane. It was easy to set up, lightweight, and surprisingly durable even after a few rough landings. The controls responded smoothly, making it great for beginners but still fun enough for someone with experience.

Good value for price. Good second plane or maybe starter.
This is a good second plane or maybe a starter plane. My son started with a plane where speed also controlled elevation so there were only two controls - one for speed/elevation the other for turning. This plane has an elevator so speed and altitude can be controlled independently. So it’s one step more complex than his starter - but only one step. There is no rudder or aileron so it’s not too complex. I like the propellers on the side and not up front so that when you crash it doesn’t damage the propeller. The foam is durable. The battery door is a bit tight so I just broke it off. Don’t expect perfection - realize that it’s a decent deal for the price. If you want perfection you’ll have to pay more. But this is a lot of fun to fly and a great first or second plane. I’d give it a 4.75 if I could.

Cheap material not worth the price
Not worth the price you pay for it. No on and off button you have disconnect the cable from the battery to turn off. Very small and cheap material that breaks easy.

Awesome - get one! or two!
This is a fantastic step up from the smaller biplanes and other beginner airplanes that are fun to learn on, but tend to porpoise or fly slowly with nose up. I got the F4U and am still blown away by how easy it was to transition from a backyard flyer, to what may be the smallest - but still amazingly stable - park flyer. I just moved from the beginner to intermediate toggle switch setting, which as far as I can tell, varies the amount of auto gyro-stabilizer. Moving to the middle position produced way tighter turns, and ability to roll out of a loop on top or bottom, but is more shaky, requiring more attention. The best part about this airplane, by far and away, is that it continues to survive crash after crash - pop the prop back on, and go again, no harm done. I bought an extra pack of 2-blade props, and another of 3-blade props, which make it even easier to fly. I've broken one 3-blade prop from a straight down smash, and lost the original 2-blade prop when it when into a lake - yes, an upside down water landing. I put a new prop on, and it flew right away - no problems. You need a huge tree-less yard, or a park, soccer field, football field, etc... for your first flights. I've been flying in smaller yards with more trees now, but it's much more fun in a big field. I've already got my eyes on the ME109 for the next one - the F4 needs a friend.
